Human Integer Chips

Today, we started our badminton tournament! The class showcased their skills at serving, striking, and communicating to their team. The students talked about religions and the roles that they play during socials, and talked about how different beliefs can cause problems between people of different faiths. In the afternoon, the class received a visit from Earth Bites to brainstormed ways to fundraise for the school garden.

Islam is a religion that they teach there is only 1 god and it is also the 2nd most largest religion with over 1.8 billion followers and that is a lot of followers and with 24% of the worlds population. Islam is like Christianity because they both believe in 1 god and Christianity has also the most largest followers in the whole entire world. Judaism is almost like Christianity because they serve the same god they just have different names because Judaism is like jewish people that serve god ( Christianity god ). Apparently there are over one point eight billion followers or twenty four percent of the world's population that are Islamic people. Islamic people are most commonly known as Muslims. Islamic people follow a god named Allah, who has a messenger named Muhammad.

Judaism is the tenth largest religion on Earth, with between fourteen point five and seventeen point four million followers. People who follow Judaism are most commonly know as the Jewish, or Jews.

Christianity has followers that are most commonly known as Christians. Christians believe that Jesus Christ is the savior of all people. Jesus Christ was born on December twenty fifth, that is why we call it Christmas. Good Friday is to honor his crucifixion, and Easter is to remember when he came back to life.

Hinduism is the Indian religion, or the way of life. People who follow Hinduism are most commonly know as Hindus. Hindus make up for fifteen or sixteen percent of the Earth's population, with about one point fifteen billion followers.

Buddhism is the world's fourth largest religion with over five hundred twenty million followers. That's seven percent of Earth's population. People who follow Buddhism are most commonly known as Buddhists.

Judaism is an ethnic religion of the Jewish people. It is also an ancient, monotheistic, Abrahamic religion with the Torah as its foundational text. It encompasses the religion, philosophy, and culture of the Jewish people. Jewish people are referred to as Jews, and their logo or emblem is tha Star Of David. The Star of David doesn't have any religious significance in Judaism, but it is one of the symbols most commonly associated with the Jewish people.

Some facts about Christianity include: it was formed in the 1st century. It was officially formed in the 1st century but truly lasted a long time before it. The original religion was called Judaism. The people still believed in a god but they didn't believe in Jesus Christ. Christianity was formed after Jesus died since the religion was named after him.

Christianity has more than 2 billion followers now. Christianity centers the belief of birth, life and the resurrection of Jesus Christ. It also concerns the health of others. As Christianity only started with a few people, many people consider it the most auspicious religious missions in human history. Christianity is considered a monotheistic religion. In other words Christians only believe in one God. This God was also the one who created the heavens and earth, including the people in these worlds.

The Holy Bible was suspected to be constructed around 1200 to 165 BC. it has been around for about 3400 years. The Bible is assembled with 2 parts; the Old Testament and the New Testament. The Old Testament describes the time before Jesus Christ arrived at earth and suffered under Pontius Pilate then was crucified. The Bible also said atat Jesus will come again which is recognized as the second coming. The Holy Bible carries crucial scriptures that describe Jesus’s lessons, the biographies and instructions of influential prophets, and disciples. It offers instructions for how Christians should live by utilizing the ten commandments.

Some big differences from Judaism conclude: Judaism only follow the Old Testament. They also don't believe in Jesus Christ. Judaism's original language was Hebrew whereas, Christianity's original language concludes, Greek, Latin, and Aramaic. Judaism has one god without the Doctrine of Trinity. Jew's "Holy Book" is termed "the Torah".

Do you know there is a lot kind of Buddhism? Well then if you don't know here is some example of different Buddhism.
first example, Theravada. The most ancient form of Buddhism, is the dominant school in Southeast Asia (Thailand, Myanmar/Burma, Cambodia, and Laos). Its name translates to "Doctrine of the Elders," Theravada Buddhists believe they will achieve Enlightenment.

Second example, Mahayana Buddhism. It is developed out of the Theravada tradition roughly 500. A number of individual schools and traditions have formed under the banner of Mahayana, including Zen Buddhism, Tibetan Buddhism, Pure Land Buddhism, and Tantric Buddhism.

Third example, Zen Buddhism. Is said to have originated in China with the teachings of the monk Bodhidharma. Zen Buddhism treats zazen meditation and daily practice as essential for attaining.

Final example,Vajrayana. Is the last of the three ancient forms to develop. provides a quicker path to Enlightenment than either the Theravada or Mahayana schools. They believe that the physical has an effect on the spiritual and that the spiritual, in turn, affects the physical.

One interesting thing about Islam is that they only worship one God, and The Five Pillars of Islam are five basic rules in Islam that all Muslims should follow. The Five Pillars are: The Shahadah (Declaration of faith) - Trusting and understanding the words of the Shahadah. The shahadah means there is no other god except Allah(one God) and Prophet Muhammad is the messenger/prophet of Allah.

One very interesting thing about the main teachings of Judaism about God are that there is a God and there is only one God. Only God created the universe and only He controls it. Judaism also teaches that God is spiritual and not physical. Jews believe that God is one – a unity: He is one whole, complete being.

The next cool and interesting fact about Christianity, this divine Godhead consists of three parts: the father (God himself), the son (Jesus Christ) and the Holy Spirit.

Today as we were preparing for Social Studies, familiar music came to our ears. It was the sound of Kahoot. That got everybody excited and loud, and the rest of the lesson was a lot more engaging. We learned about religion by guessing answers to questions that were onscreen. There are five main religions: Islam, Judaism, Christianity, Hinduism and Buddhism.

Before we get started, I would like to acknowledge that all religions, although different, also have a few things in common. First of all, all religions have someone to worship and pray to. That "someone" is who basically has created the religion. Secondly, all religions need rules or a holy book that tells you what has been and must be done in order to accomplish a certain goal. Third, religions need a background story to tell you what is the history behind that particular religion. Fourth, there should be a hierarchy in each religion to keep things in order. Lastly, all religions have a moral code. There are many other things, but these are just a few of the main points.

Let's start by talking about Islam. The name means "surrender" to the Will of God and it also comes from the word "Salam", which means "peace". You can tell that this religion believes in God and in peace with no war just from the name of it. One interesting fact about this religion is that Islamic advances in the use of paper is the primary reason why we read books instead of scrolls nowadays.

Our next religion is called Judaism. This is a religion that originated about 3500 years ago in the Middle East. The most important religious text of Judaism is the Torah and its laws are called Halakhah. Judaism teaches that there is one God. Also, instead of one book, the Jews have one book created out of five books of Moses.

The next religion is called Christianity. Christianity is a religion that was founded in the 1st century that is based on the belief that Jesus is the Son of God, and that his coming was predicted in the Old Testament of the Bible. About one third of the world's people are Christian and half of them are Roman Catholics. Christians believe that the afterlife includes an eternal heaven or hell depending on whether the individual has faith in God, in Christ's resurrection, and how they lived their life and worshiped God.

Next, we have Hinduism which Hinduism is the third largest religion in the world, as well as the world's oldest religion. It is believed that Hinduism dates back to 5000-10,000 BC.Hindus believe in Reincarnation. They believe the soul is immortal and the body is mortal, and when a person dies their soul will be reborn into another body until that soul eventually achieves salvation and the cycle of death and rebirth ends.

Lastly, we have Buddhism. The religion of Buddhism was founded in India approximately 2,500 years ago. Buddhism follows a variety of practices, beliefs and traditions based upon the teachings of Buddha. Buddha is also known as 'the enlightened one' or 'the awakened one'. Although Buddhist teachings vary depending on which school or sect one belongs to, they all share the goal of putting an end to suffering and the cycle of rebirth.A Buddha is not a god but a teacher.

In conclusion, every religion is both similar and different with each other. All of them have interesting facts and a different perspective of life. If we learn more about the different religions, it will help influence our worldview.

Are religions good or bad for society? Do you think it unites or divides society? In Division 2, Mr. Collins has been teaching us about beliefs recently, more specifically religions. To answer the question about something that hugely affects the society we have now, we should first learn about the different kinds of religions. The major groups of religion include Islam, Judaism, Christianity, Hinduism, and Buddhism.

First, Islams are Muslims, and they believe in how God is merciful and forgiveful. The 1.2 billion Muslims worldwide follow peace and equality. They “submit” themselves to God’s will and guidance. There are “Five Pillars” of Islam: The Declaration of Faith, Prayer, Zakat, Fasting, and Pilgrimage. In the religion of Islam, God sent prophets to human for teaching them His lows of how to live. The final prophet was Muhammad, and they have their holy book, the “Qur’an”.

Second, Judaism is the Jewish people’s religion, though not all Jews are active at believing and practicing in Judaism. Like Muslims, they believe that there is only one God. They believe that God is the one who created everything. Their holy book is called the “Torah”. The “Torah” carries all the laws, stories, and rules to follow. It tells the Jews what to do and what not to do. The ten commandments are the stronger and more important ones to obey. Additionally, Israel is a very important land to the Jewish.

“Christianity is the greatest intellectual system the mind of man has ever touched.” — Francis Schaeffer. One of the strongest religion is Christianity. Their book is called the “Bible”. They believe in Jesus, the Son of God. Christians believe that he came to earth and taught about morals on how to live a better life. He is what the Christians believe they must try to be. Sins are transgressions against God (starting from the earliest of Adam/Eve and the tree of knowledge). The cross symbolizes Christianity. The two well-known festivals of this religion are Easter and Christmas.

Next, Hinduism is very broad and diverse. There are many different groups and each adherent may follow and worship different gods. Hindus know that karma is very important. It determines your destiny and future, depending on what you have earned or done. To Hindus, negative consequences are caused by bad karma. Opposingly, good karma gives rewards and prizes.

Lastly, Buddhism is a religion followed by people mostly in Asian countries. With hundreds of millions of people, Buddhism does not include the worshiping of God. It is a philosophy of living a peaceful, good, and accomplishing lives. The founder of Buddhism, Siddhartha Gautama, became the Buddha (also known as the leader). Unlike most religions, Buddhists are able to worship at temples as well as their homes. Buddhism focuses a lot on meditation and wisdom.

In conclusion, these are what the major groups of religions are and information on what their beliefs. It is very interesting to learn about the similarities and differences between these cultures. I hope that as I learn more and more about these religions, we will be able to understand others’ actions and thinking better.

I must say one thing they all have in common is that they all have rules about being kind to others and treating others like how you want to be treated. Now personally, I’m not religious. I’m a spiritual person so I’m also not an atheist so I don’t know a lot about these religions. I will tell you what I know though. I know that in Christianity, people who are christian warship God and Jesus Christ. In Buddhism, people who are buddhist warship Buddha. Now I’m not really sure about Islam, Judaism and Hinduism but I’m sure they’ve all got their own traditions and beliefs. Am I supposed to look this up?

Islam is an Abrahamic monotheistic religion teaching that there is only one God, and that Muhammad is the messenger of God.

Judaism is the ethnic religion of the Jewish people. It is an ancient, monotheistic, Abrahamic religion with the Torah as its foundational text. It encompasses the religion, philosophy, and culture of the Jewish people.

Christianity is an Abrahamic religion based on the life and teachings of Jesus of Nazareth, as described in the New Testament. Its adherents, known as Christians, believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and savior of all people, whose coming as the Messiah was prophesied in the Old Testament.

Hinduism is an Indian religion and dharma, or way of life, widely practised in the Indian subcontinent and parts of Southeast Asia.

Buddhism is the world's fourth-largest religion with over 520 million followers, or over 7% of the global population, known as Buddhists. Buddhism encompasses a variety of traditions, beliefs and spiritual practices largely based on original teachings attributed to the Buddha and resulting interpreted philosophies.

In conclusion, I understand these religions much better now. Most of this is from wiki, but I don’t think this would be false information. They’re very different from each other, and I can really tell by the way people describe them.

The god in Islam is Allah.

Islam
Islam believes in Muhammed and has their own holy book called the Quran.

Judiasm
They believe in one God. Jewish people believe in the old holy book

Christians
Believe in Jesus Christ. They believe in the old holy book and the new holy book.

Hinduism
They don't believe in a god it a special type of a god. They believe in their own soul and that it is the way they talk to god

Buddhism
The fourth largest type of belief. Started 2500 years ago in india. They believe in man and that man has power to do everything.
