Collaboration The design thinking process is a 5-step process used by entrepreneurs around the world to develop creative solutions to a problem! Companies and students may use the design thinking process to creatively tackle challenges and to create a better world through entrepreneurship. For your POST A RESPONSE today, you have a Learning Challenge, we challenge you to reflect on the problem of household garbage and apply the design thinking process to find a creative way to upcycle waste. Read the PAR carefully. PRIZES WILL BE AWARDED IN A FEW WEEKS FOR THE MOST CREATIVE IDEAS!
IMPORTANT:
1.) ENSPIRE: Entrepreneur workshop tomorrow (UBC - Faculty of Commerce presenters)
LEARNING PLANNER:
1.) READING: 30 minutes
2.) ART: Continue working on your drafts. Most students are completing their 3rd drafts. MANAGE YOUR TIME WISELY! We are aiming to finish this project on Friday!
3.) ENSPIRE - Complete the last two pages of the booklet with your group members!
4.) POST A RESPONSE CHALLENGE:
LEARNING INTENTION: I can come up with a solution using the 5 Step Design Thinking Process outlined on my handout.
SUCCESS CRITERIA:
1.) Follow the 5 steps outlined on the handout and apply this Design Thinking Process to
develop your idea to upcycle household waste.
2.) Then, write a short, persuasive paragraph (4-5 sentences) explaining why your solution is
awesome and why people should buy it! (On your handout or on the class website)
3.) WORK: Complete all work in your booklet handout.
4.) COLLABORATION: Use the class website to share your ideas with your group members.
