FRIDAY: Farewell Ms. Fei

Dear students of div 4,
Thank you for your energy, enthusiasm, cooperation, and creativity toward your learning! From the first day that I met you (Sept. 27, 2012), I was impressed by your talents and skills in so many different areas. It has been wonderfully rewarding to see you continue to learn and grow in those areas and in new areas over the past 8 months.
Thank you (and Mr. Hong!) for such thoughtful and special farewell memories and gifts. It has been my honor to be your student teacher- I am so blessed to have had you as my first class! You will always be first class in my heart =)
Have a great rest of the year- finish strong- and enjoy your summer!

1 Was in art with the cameras and it became fun to learn about the rule of thirds it was super cool

2 Was math when we Learned about integers like -21--9 if it was not for you I would not get that math

3 Is Pe was army and naive because I never know about army and naive if it was not for Ms.fei

1I think my favorite activity was photography and especially I really like doing the BEV and WEV

2 I think it is actually part true in the fact that I liked math because some of the things isn't just work all day which I like! (not that Mr.Hong is that way) You helped me get some extra work and even retake a test. :)

3.My third favorite activity with you was the rockets. It was really fun to learn why our rocket would only go 10 inches.(yup SUPER fun only to see our rocket fail)

Firstly, it was math because we got to play cool math games and puzzles, I think it is way better than juts doing textbook work. More specifically, when we were learning about integers and we played that integers PAC-man game. This was my favorite because I think it was something everyone enjoyed because it was a game and everyone likes games it is way better than a worksheet or something.

Secondly, my other favorite lesson was language arts because she told us exactly what to do so we knew what to actually do and she made sure we understood it and did not just sit around and do nothing. More specifically, when we were writing our responses for our books and she sent us a doc saying exactly what to do so we knew what to do.

Lastly, socials I picked this one as a favorite even though, all of the lessons were my favorite. When we did our Iqbal projects I think was fun learning about the poverty cycle or if this was your topic. This was my favorite because you could pick what you wanted to learn about from the themes in Iqbal and I also, liked that you could pick any type of presentation.

To begin with, one of my favorite activities to do was photography. I personally love taking photos and to learn about it at school was just so much fun. Ms. Fei explained about the different types of photography. Such as, rule of thirds, leading lines, birds eye view, worms eye view.

Secondly, I liked math. Even though a lot of the stuff was pretty easy to me, I still liked it. This is because Ms. Fei showed us different little math games and videos. The videos helped me memorize integers on a number line:)

Last but not least, I liked launching the rockets in science. It was really fun doing experiments with Ms. Fei. I learned that you need to have the right amount of alka-seltzer and the right angle/aim. Hopefully we can do more experiments like it next year;)

1: Art: When we got to use cameras and take pictures and do different things with them. Like editing and collages and such.

2: Christmas decorations: I liked making the snowflakes and the string balls for Christmas. And yes that was also Art.

3: Science: I like how ms. Fei had lots of cool science experiments that she had made and how at Christmas she mixed science in with art to make the snowflake decorations.

1) Math, When we learned integers and had the tests/quiz's she always helped me so that was good for me.
2) Photography, When she taught us all the different ways to take, action shots, macro, and leading lines! it was all fun.
3) P.E, When you had us play octopus for every warm up it was a challenge when the to fastest people went up. :)

We learned so much with Ms. Fei. One of my favourite activities was the rocket experiment that we recently did. It was so fun to actually make the rocket fly on our own! I'll definitely try that out at home during the summer. Another was the time that we took photos for our moms for mother's day. We had to hold our hand out as if we were holding something, then later when they were printed, we cut a hole and slid a flower in our hands so it looked like we were actually holding it.

Finally, when we played that game in math, where someone made a question that was adding or subtracting integers, and then two people had to have their backs facing the board, and then when Ms. Fei said, "Go!" , they turned and had the touch the "+" button or the "-" button, saying if the answer to the question was positive or negative.

Thanks so much for an amazing year Ms. Fei. We hope to see you again next year!

Oh sorry that second paragraph is one long sentence. It should be like this:

1. I think my favorite activity was photography and especially I really like doing the leading lines.

2. I also liked doing the math and learning all about integers, and I liked that you let us do a project instead of a test.

3. Lastly I liked all of the science experements you did with us.

To begin with, my favourite activity was when in P.E. we played that game where we went to the left wall, or the right wall. ( I forgot the name. ) Also, when Ms.Fei blew the whistle we had to go on the ground. The reason that was my favourite activity was it was challenging because she would to random combinations so it would be very tricky.

Second of all, I really enjoyed taking pictures and learning about the different techniques. I learned about leading lines, rule of thirds, contrast, macro, birds eye view and worms eye view.

To end off, I really liked when we made the borax snowflakes and the string ornaments for Christmas. It was really fun and not that hard to make. The outcome was really cook. You got a string ornament and a crystal snowflake.

1)My first and favorite is when we played integer soccer in the gym it was so fun. I thought that it was a little hard to play because you had to figure out the answer fast to see if you are the answer.

2) when we made the cards for mothers day that was fun.

3)it was when we put the questions and they had to put eather if the answer is + or -

My first favourite subject was photography. And in photography, my favourite was the leading lines because of the cool affect. Secondly, was math. My favourite sub-subject in math was integers because of the creative Big Foot. And thirdly, it was in PE when we played Integer Soccer. It was a little difficult to play because you don't have a number line or counters in front of you.

mine was pretty much the same as lio's my favorate subject was also photography although it was eseay and more fun than I expected. Also if I didn't know about the things I know now when I get older I would not have hade the chance to become a sucsessfull photographer like my ant.

1.) Firstly, one of my favourite subjects that Ms. Fei would teach us is, science. I chose science because the ideas of the rockets was just amazing it was so cool seeing the bottles and/or caps soaring into the air, due to only two things: water, and something else that I forgot what it is called. Also another science experiment was the borax snowflakes. I loved this experiment because at first I was thinking wow I hate how my snowflake looks then I put it in the water and put borax in it and waited till the next day...it looked amazing!

2.) Secondly, photography I liked the photography because I thought it was really neat to learn how to use so many different techniques in photography, while I just thought it was like this: tame a picture, done. But it turns out there is so much towards photography such as, bev/wev, rule of thirds, leading lines, and more.

3.) Lastly, math I really enjoyed the math because there was so many activities and yet we learned so much. Also since I already like math it was fun but since there were activities it was so much more fun!

One of my favorite subjects was art. I liked learning about all the different concepts of photography such as leading lines and rule of thirds. I also liked having the freedom of going off and taking pictures.
My other favorites were p.e and science. P.E I liked because we got to play fun games like octopus. Science I liked because of all the cool expirements. Like the rocket ship.

1.) P.E. i really loved having P.E with Ms.Fei because instead of what most classes would do, we were able to play games so instead of just practice, it was practice with a physical goal, not to mention fun.

2.) Science. Science was a wonderful experience and a powerful insight on what lies ahead in Science because learning with Ms.Fei changed the outcome for me, normally I would learn about something I already new while Ms.Fei taught me something comepletley new as for example, carbon dioxide can be used to extinguish flames because of its hefty mass.

3.) Art. When we did photography with Ms.Fei, I never knew taking pictures had a large amount of concepts behind it. Taking a picture is simple but taking a good one takes patience, time, thought, and skill.

1: I really liked photography because of everything Ms Fei taught us like birds and worms eye view. rule of thirds, etc. I also like it because we were free to take pictures of what we wanted.

2: I also like the way we made borax snowflakes. I like it because it was fun.

3: I also liked the integers unit. I liked it because of the games we got to play in class like pac man and I also liked the integers song.

My absolute favourite activity we learned was probably photography!
I really enjoyed building our knowledge on how to take good, professional photographs, since last year. I liked this unit that Ms.Fei taught us because we got to express our creativity and personality in every single one of our photographs. There was really no limit, unless we got an assignment, but I have to admit that they were very fun to do as well! I’m really proud of how much I know now about photography and how much I knew then. I won’t forget all the different techniques and skills we have learned from this unit, and I look forward to actually using them a lot in the future.

My second favourite activity was of course, math!
I liked learning and reviewing different skills of math since last year, because I forgot lots about integers (I think it was summers brain :P) but now I remember them all. I mainly enjoyed this unit since we weren’t really doing just worksheets. We also got to have fun and look at helpful videos, websites, google forms, and even methods we could do ourselves like the counter method! Also, some integer math questions were on the grade 8 math challenge exam, and I remembered the methods we learned... However most of them were different from the stuff we learned, so I’m going to look them up to expand my learning.
The math project we did at the end was really fun too! I think it helped us showcase our learning better than a math quiz could have.

Finally, my last favourite activity we learned was probably P.E!
I loved to do track & field, and I enjoyed learning how to properly pass the baton. I also, loved learning about different games you would teach us like the integer game, and army & navy! It was fun to to incorporate subjects like math in our P.E unit, so we could learn more and have fun at the same time.

Thanks Ms.Fei for all that you taught us, and I hope you go far in your teaching career! :)

2: the PE classes we did was fun because you out a lot of variety into it.

My favourite subject is photography because now I can take amazing photos from what she showed us.

My second favourite subject was physical education. I enjoyed doing track and field and badminton.

My third favourite subject was math. I liked how she used bigfoot to go across the number line. It helped my learning a lot and it was very creative.
