PLANNER:
1.) LA/READING: Read for 30 minutes and log it on your 'READ TO SELF' log sheet.
- Keep in mind, if you are using 'CONNECTIONS' as a strategy on your log sheet, be sure to explain it in detail. For example - I made a connection to the book I'm reading because it reminded me of this holiday I went on in Hawaii. The beaches described in the novel really allowed me to visualize the beaches I visited when I was in Maui a few years ago. I felt like I was there again!
2.) POST A RESPONSE:
- Today, you were at school, but I was not. I want to hear how your day went and how your individual 'self-regulation' went!
- First, watch this video.
- LEARNING INTENTION: I can write a paragraph on how my self-regulation went today.
SUCCESS CRITERIA:
1.) Paragraph format (intro/body/conclusion)
2.) Body - Include 2-3 detailed examples of how you found it challenging to self-regulate. If
you were able to fully self-regulate, explain how you were able to do this.
3.) If you were unable to self-regulate, explain what personal strategy you can use next time
to help you better self-regulate.
4.) Self-assessment: Check for the givens (spelling ,capitals, punctuation, grammar, and
sentence structure).
5.) Edit/revise your post based on your self-assessment.
