Today was a fun-filled day of learning. Students started the day off with French/ADST. They used practical French phrases and vocabulary to create pizzas from scratch. Mr. Collins taught the students how to use these phrases to make recipes and instructions on how to make them. The students then used iMovie to create learning videos. Later in the afternoon, students continued learning with food with EearthBites! They learned how to make 'WOW BUTTER' from scratch.

IMPORTANT: 1.) Mr. Collins will be with us until Friday! 2.) This is the last chance for the following students to send in their 3 photos (baby, child, now) for the grad slideshow: Adrian, Anita, Benedict, Kevin, Olivia, Victoria, Wendy. Send these to [email protected] as soon as possible, or we will be sending in our own photos of you.

1.) LA/NOVEL APPROACH:

Physically return all novels to Mr. Hong/Mr. Collins. Make sure we mark it on FreshGrade.
If you haven't handed in your NA booklets, be sure to do that ASAP. They are now overdue.

2.) SOCIAL STUDIES:

Social Studies projects are due today!
Post a shared link to FreshGrade if your project is in digital form.

3.) SCIENCE 6: Glogster projects are due tomorrow. Post a shared link to your project on
FreshGrade.
SCIENCE 7: If you haven't handed in your experiment handouts, be sure to submit these to Mr. Hong

4.) FRENCH:

Complete your 'PIZZA' video according to the criteria given to you by Mr. Collins.
Click here to access photos of all ingredients. You are free to use them in your video.

5.) POST A RESPONSE:

Holiday - Get caught up and submit all your work to Mr. Collins.
Friday will be his last day.
All materials must be handed in on time so Mr. Collins has enough time to evaluate all your work.
Everything will be going on your report cards. If you do not submit them on time, you will receive an incomplete in the specific subject area.

First of all, glogster links are not real links. Second of all, I cant do my French video because I don't have I movie nor the pictures and videos I took. Third, the thing my group is working on for socials does not have shareable links. And last we only had one session for photograph, and I don't have any devices to take photos at home. Your going to be like, why don't I use my only device, an iPad ONE, wait a minute, that does not even have camera! OOOOOOOFFF

1.) All, good. I have access to your Glog
2.) We will have time to work on the French Videos tomorrow. Plan what needs to be added as text in your video, and practice the lines that you need to say in a voiceover. I have not yet received a recipe from you. This will need to be submitted with your project.
3.) So long as your part is complete, that's fine. We will be collecting them first thing tomorrow morning.
4.) We will discuss this tomorrow.

@Mr. Hong and Mr. Collins. I think I am pretty sure my parents have already sent the three photos to the gmail which mentioned. I wonder if you can check it again and if you can't see it, I could send the photos again. Thank you.

I am really sorry that I missed school today. Is it ok that I hand in the French recipe on Friday, even though it is your last day, I have made the recipe, but I was not able to record the video today. I would be forever in debt to you if you agreed to this.
