They should receive their evaluations in about a months time. It is important to note that this assessment is not the best indicator of your child's abilities or learning. It does not take into account what concepts and topics have been taught and which ones have yet to be taught this year. Also, please keep in mind this will not be used for any in-school evaluations or reports.
IMPORTANT:
1.) The Foundation Skills Assessments have been completed. We used up about 5 hours of class time to complete the math, reading, and writing components of the assessment.

1.) Paragraph format (engaging hook, 2-3 supporting points/examples, and a conclusion)
2.) Make an inference and state it in your paragraph. What do you think could possibly happen
after the Rover and Nasa completes their research on Mars? What could this lead to in 30
years?
3.) Check for the givens (spelling, capitals, grammar, sentence structure, and punctuation)
4.) Post a self-assessment of the above criteria as a reply to your original paragraph.
5.) Edit/revise as needed.
