Today, you continued rehearsing your speech for tomorrow's in class speech competition. You will be assessed according to the criteria given to you in class. Be sure to work on your content, structure, and overall presentation. A good idea is to record yourself and listen/watch yourself so you know what you need to work on. Another idea would be to practice in front of family or in front of a mirror. Ask your family members for some feedback on what they think you need to work on.

- Memorize your speech! We are going to have our in class competition tomorrow.
- TIPS: Write out your flash cards on paper if you don't have flash cards. Practice reading off of your flash cards.
- Record yourself (audio/video) and self assess yourselves. Do your best to keep it under 3 minutes. If it is slightly longer tomorrow, it is ok. We can adjust it for the second round.
- Ask your parents/siblings for feedback.
- This is your only homework so I know you are spending your time doing your work. It is very important you are ready to present to the class tomorrow. This is part of your LA grade.
