I will be talking about the Mesopotamian innovation, laws. Laws are rules that are enforced, and you have to follow them. If you don't follow those laws there will have a big or small punishment, depending on what law you broke.

I will be talking about writing. Writing had many different form and without it there would be no books or they would take a long time to be invented. There is a few names such as: pictographs, pigments, hyrogriphics(Egypt) and one writing system is using cuneifrom. It was the Mesopotamians way of writing. They used writing for marking trades and education. I think writing was probally one of the most improtant of all.

I will be talking about the barter system. In the olden days, you did not need money to get things you needed. Money wasn't used to trade goods and services. The Mesopotamians used the barter system instead. They developed a writing system to keep track of buying and selling. Scribes kept accurate records of all the trades by writing on clay tablets. When people traded, the contracts were sealed with a cylinder wheel.

I'll be talking about the Mesopotamian innovation, writing. Writing was their way of showing information like who owned what. It was mainly used for business-like stuff. It helped Mesopotamia by giving them a way of communication and showing information. Their form of writing was made up of pictures and over time, elvolved into our form of writing. Just like back then, we still use it for communication today. Typing out this paragraph probably wouldn't be possible wihout this innovation. Something I'd like to know is how and why the Mesopotamians created writing.

I'm going to talk about pottery. Pottery is a pot, bowl, or plates, shaped from clay and hardened by heat. Pottery helped civilization in many different ways. It helped them by holding objects. We use pottery in these days. It holds water which is very important.

I picked the wheel. The wheel is an object that is used to move things easily, with its round figure. Without wheels, we wouldn't be able to move wagons, drive cars, or even go for a bike ride. There are many things in the world that need wheels to work, so it is a very important invention that was made. In the ancient times, the wheel was used to move around things, like items for trade.

Im going to do the wheel, the whelk is so you can transportat for example you wouldn't have these things wagons, bikes, scooters, and even cars. This is why we really need the wheel.

fire- fire has helped the world in many ways and has destroyed it.... But I will be talking about the advantages of fire and how it started. We think the fire. Was started by someone hitting two items together and making a spark.. Fire hasn't really proceeded to get new versions of it but since it was invented until today it is thought of a free source of heat. In the 1900s it has been used to power trains, forn glass and metal and melt iron gold etc into something new.

Hi today I will be talking about the amazing wheel. the wheel is so usefull if the mesopotamians didn't creat the wheel we wouldn't have cars, bikes, wagons, skateboards, rollerblades, and plenty more stuff. The wheel is used to be put on the bottom of stuff so it can easily be moved. it can move you as transportation or other objects so they can possibly be traded. I think the wheel was made first as a square but then they chipped the edges off by accident and they noticed that the round figure is the best way of moving stuff

There were many Mesopotamian innovations, from the wheel to the plow, but did you know that the Sumerians (Mesopotamian people) were storytellers? They even made a story of a super hero named "Gilgamesh"! All of this is interesting, but what invention really changed our lives today? Writing.

The calender. Back when Mesopotamia was around, the solar year was divided into two seasons. "Summer" and "Winter". Summer included barley harvests at around the second half of May or the beginning of June. Summer to them back then was like our fall-winter time. Back then the Babylonians called the calender Chaldaeans, which is very similar to our English word calender. It took quite a long time for them to create the calender. Also, the king contributed on helping to invent this. We believe that it was invented in the mid-eighth century.

I will be talking about the early mesopotamians form of writing, known as cuneiform. A cuneiform is from the term in spanish meaning, "Wedge-shaped". They are pictures/symbols pressed onto a clay tablet. These were used to show what had been purchased or sold. A cuneiform was kind of like a receipt back then in ancient Mesopotamia, although back then it was evolving into bigger and better things since it is also form of communication, this could make us wonder, "What if it never existed.. would we still be around here today?".

Wheel- wheels are used to move things such as bikes, skateboards, cars, roller blades and other cool stuff. If the wheels weren't invented we wouldn't have transportations and we would be living a hard life. It can also help wagons to load heavy materials.

I will be talking about the very famous wheel and the wheel helps to this day with transportation. Also if the wheel was never invented there would be no bikes or cars or scooters or anything that can roll and carry hevy loads. Who knows how the wheel was created was it just a fluke or did they do it for a reason this is what is one of the very many questions that are mysterious about the wheel.

I'm going to be talking about CUNEIFORM, Mesopatamians believed in education. Record keeping was very important to them. They wanted their children to learn how to read and write. Their written language began as pictures of things that acted as words. Pictures worked, but they were sort of awkward.

I will be talking about transportation because it's amazing if you look back and you compare early transportation with the current means of transportation, these days we have electric trains, electric cars, and even a plane that can carry over 825 passengers Comments are closed.
