Criteria Sheet and Peer assessment

Today, our 'PASSION PROJECT FILM FESTIVAL' started! We had an opportunity to watch a few finished projects by some of our students. We were blown away by the amount of time, effort, and work that the students have all put into these assignments. I can't wait to see the rest of them over the next few days.

1.) MATH: no hw

2.) Socials/Science: Continue your adaptations research. All of your CRAAP details should be finished for tomorrow. Refer to yesterday's post for details.

3.) POST A RESPONSE:

Today's post a response assignment is being assessed. If you do not complete it, you will not receive an assessment on FreshGrade.
Listen to this YouTube link without watching the actual video. (VERY IMPORTANT - Do not watch the video as this is a visualization activity)
List five things you heard and 5 things you visualized when you heard the sounds. Use your background knowledge to make some connections!
Comment on two other responses and give them some feedback on what they can do to improve their writing (capitals, spelling, sentence structure, grammar, etc)
Edit/revise your original post based on the feedback you received or your self-assessment.
Reread today's post a response assignment.

What i heard : I heard bird chirping , a waterfalls , the breeze go through the trees, i heard frog's, a river flowing calmly , natures natural sounds, some sort of animal ( panda,or bear not to true)

What i saw i saw rain forest ,trees, birds, frogs, insects,lily pads , ponds, rivers, rocks,water falls and you can feel the mist from it .I also saw me walking i can feel mist on my face and hear everything and it's so peaceful for me i see birds flying over my head, i see things i have never seen before , i sit near the river and lay down just listening to it .
That's what i saw! :)

What i saw: Me walking through the amazon by myself with all kinds of birds flying over my head . Then i run into a waterfall with a rainbow on top of it , i can feel the mist on my cheeks with a little breeze. Then i keep on walking i see a empty field with a river in the middle i walk further near it and sit down for a rest just listening to the sound .
That's what i saw! :)

I heard birds chirping like when the sun rises I heard the rushing waters like the water flowing through a abandoned beautiful cave that flows with water I heard the bees like they have just started to pollinate the flowers I saw everything that would be in a forest trees animals insect everything that life has to offer

@ Dyamontae - It feels like a really long sentence. I like your descriptive writing, but you should probably use periods to split up your ideas.

I imaged myself in a forest. I can hear birds chirping. I also hear the water from the river or from the waterfall. I also heard a toad croak.
And i saw pretty flowers and trees. Also a river and a few ponds. Birds on top of the branches. Also i saw plants and leaves on the ground. Thats all i can imagine XD

I also heard the wind and the leaves swaying. And i visualized the toad hopping on each lily pod on the river. And the birds flying in the sky while they sing. I saw a deer eating grass. And a butterfly flying around the flowers.

Smil great job and all but in the first sentence the part "i imaged" doesn't make sense so you should check over your work

1) What I heard was- the soft mellow wind,Birds singing,all of the sounds sounded like chimes in the wind,animals,tress moving, (5)

2) Ok what I visualized was!!!!!!!- "someone in there big mansion and there house was across a clear blue lake and it was a super peaceful sunny day and you can hear the wind singing and you can hear the tress moving together like a big tide of water.And that person was drinking earl gray tea and whistling and humming to the music she was listening to the artis was "The drifters" and the song name was "under the Boardwalk" that was her favourite type of music styles and she was also watching the chimes moving trough the wind and she was hearing the sweet mellow sound of the birds singing.

This is audio reminded me of when my grade 6 teacher "MS.Coe" took us to the forest we would play man hunt and we even did Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream in the forst these sounds reminded me a lot about that because you could hear birds and the wind and the trees and you can also see squirrels lol.

I heard birds chirping like it was morning
and what i saw was all kinds of birds on this huge tree.

I heard the camera buzzing and what i saw
was the camera glitching out.

I heard bees swarming and what I saw was
the bees swarming around a wasp.

I heard a tiny waterfall coming out of a small stream of water falling down from the rocks
and what I saw was a clean river with water that looked like it was from Jamaica.

I heard the wind breezing and what I saw was the leaves getting pushed around by the wind.

Oh yes I forgot to make a connection!
Like how I said the birds were chirping like it was morning
It was really annoying then back in the Philippines because when you woke up in the morning you would always here these annoying little creatures chirping at nothing but the sky. It wouldn't stop until somewhere around 11:00 A.M.

I heard... nothing because my moms phone can't install you-tube, i lost my ear phones, i left my phone in my dads car and my dad comes hone at like 12 PM so i'll try to do it there and my brother wont let me use his phone.This is THE perfect way to set me up. DAM YOU JOKER!

2) Ok what I visualized was!!!!!!-someone in there big mansion { A.K.A a woman}
and her mansion was across a clear blue lake and it was a super peaceful sunny day and you can hear the wind singing and you can hear the trees moving together like a big tide of water.And that woman was drinking "Earl grey tea" and whistling and humming to the music she was sing to.The singers where the "The Driffters" and the song name was "Under The Boardwalk" that was her favourite type of music styles and she was also watching the chimes moving trough the wind and she heard the soft gentle sound of birds singing.

3) This audio reminded me of when my grade six teacher MS.Coe took us to the forest ( me Shmil and Xaviery and Elise)we would play man hunt and we even did "Shakespeare's Midsummer Night's Dream" in the forest.These sounds reminded me a lot about that because you could hear the birds and the wind and the trees and you can also see squirrels in the forest sometimes.

You should not start a sentence with "And", plus you forgot to space after your period.

You got where and were mixed up.

Many run on sentences.

I heard...
Chirping: It reminded me when i was in the forest hearing that all day.

Water Dripping: When i was so thirst at my friends house he just grabbed a cup of water and started dripping it in a cup. IN-FRONT of me.

Waterfall: I went to a waterfall and almost fell down. I hear that exact sound.

The wind: I keep thinking of that book called Name of the wind.

Raining: It was a school day and it was pouring.

I saw a jungle with a lot of birds a lot of wind 💨 it remained me of a movie where people wake up go to the balcony and they here the birds chirping it also made me think of a jungle where there is no one there and it is just the birds chirping

I heard
a calm stream of water,a water fall,lots of birds,I think I heard a wood pecker,and I think there was a duck.
This all reminded me of a episode of survivor man when he went to the amazon rainforest what he had to do was survive, with the materials given .It was really hard because there are poisonous snakes there and if you listen closely in the video the background noise makes it sound like there is a snake hissing at the mic.
But while watching it made me feel like I was in survivor man's perspective.

What I heard...

- birds chirping happily
- waters softly pour down the stream
- wind blowing through the trees, leaves, and branches
- raining
- rustling noises

What I visualize...

Alice saw little birds chirping happily, while, they were sitting peacefully in one of the trees branches. When she turned around, she saw a small, narrow river and she could hear the water softly run down the stream. She went there to look closer, but, to her dismay, the wind blew through her and it took her hat away. She looked around quickly to get a glimpse of her hat but, it was gone. "Oh dear, that was my grandmother's old hat.. Oh, well.. I'll look for it.." She sighed as she was touching her head. When she start heading in the left direction, she heard rustling noises in the right direction where most bushes were. Being the curious Alice as she always be, she slowly went closer to see what it was. When she peeked through the bush, she saw a cat. The cat was sniffing onto a familiar hat. "Dinah! Thank goodness you found my hat!" She went over and beamed happily. She gave the cat a quick peck kiss on its white snowy forehead. "Come on, Dinah! Sister's waiting!" Alice said as she carried Dinah carefully and put the hat on her head. She looked up, and noticed the sky was getting dark.. "Well, I think our nature walk is over now.."

(I made it kinda like a story since, that's how I imagined it in my head... lol XD Hope you like it! Also...goodnight~!)

This is what I heard:
- I heard birds chirping in a forest or something like that.
- I heard a loud wind going through a jungle.
- I heard a waterfall and a stream of water going down the stream.
- I heard a frog corak that was soft by a frog
- I heard tree branches falling down of the tree.
Now what I saw:
- I saw birds chirping on a tree in a forest.
- I saw a huge wind like a storm type of wind.
- I saw a huge waterfall that you could see from space and a big stream.
- I saw a frog chilling by the stream looking for food.
- I saw branches falling off of trees because of the wind.

I heard birds chirping which made me calm and delighted
I heard streams of water which cleared my min
I saw only light and happiness
I heard frogs croaking which reminded me of music I like.
I heard the rainfall on leaves which made more calming for my mind
the more the animals sung the more I was calmed.
This calmed me down and watching it before bed was a good idea :3

I could hear birds chirping/singing and I heard a stream of water that was really calm.I also heard gentle rain drops plopping on the floor then it's started to get harder and harder.I could hear wind pushing against the leaves and trees.WHAT I IMAGINED:I imagined a stream of water movingly slowly,it was really calm.I also imagined the wind pushing the leaves,the leaves motions were like they were waving at me,and the birds chirps sounded like the singing a beautiful song.I visualized a waterfall with boards flying over it and the rain stopped raining so I saw a beautiful rainbow in the skies.It was huge.

I heard first birds chirping and other whistling and a stream of water that was going pretty fast and I heard rain drops and then the stream got extremely loud and fast I also heard bumping I saw in my mind a zoo and a few birds on a branch of a fountain of water they were chirping until the water got louder then they flew away aww I miss the birds
