6.) POST A RESPONSE:
- We have seen a big shift in the learning in our class. Students are taking greater ownership of their learning. It is clear you have all learned how to become excellent learners this year!
- When completing your PAR today, really think about the Big 6 Learning principles (learning intentions, success criteria, questions, self-assessments, peer assessments, and ownership)
- LEARNING INTENTION: I can explain what it means to take ownership of my learning.
- SUCCESS CRITERIA:
1.) PARAGRAPH FORMAT: intro/body/conclusion
2.) GIVENS/CONVENTIONS: spelling, capitals, sentence structure, grammar, and punctuation.
3.) BODY: Include 2 examples/points/evidence that show how you take ownership of your learning.
4.) SELF-ASSESSMENT: Complete a self-assessment using the above criteria and post a reply to your paragraph stating you did this and what you changed (if any).
5.) PEER-ASSESSMENT: Give one other student peer feedback and give them two things to improve on.
6.) REVISIONS: Post your revised paragraph based on your self/peer feedback.
