Nov 11th - Remembrance Day Yesterday, the class was exceptionally well-behaved! Reviewing, revisiting, and discussing classroom expectations is starting to have a much more positive effect! Keep up the amazing work and remember, always stay positive! Remember, if you're positive, the people around you will be more positive!

- Review worksheets for the test on Monday. If you are comfortable with all of them, you should do fine on the test. Here are the answers to your worksheet that was handed out today that we didn't mark in class.

2.) LANGUAGE ARTS:
- Complete the NOVEL APPROACH graphic organizer by providing an inference you made on the left hand side and evidence of your inference from the story (Hummingbird) on the right side of your chart.
- When completing the bottom section on 'WHAT YOU LEARNED' Please provide details about what you think an inference is, how to make one, and how to provide evidence of your inference.

3.) POST A RESPONSE:
- Take two minutes of silence to reflect on Remembrance day (Nov 11th). In your own words, write a short paragraph on 'WHAT REMEMBRANCE DAY' means to you. This is very similar to the writing activity you completed in class on remembrance day reflections. Use what you wrote in class as background knowledge to write your paragraph.
- Include the following in your paragraph.
- 3 points to support (examples) 'WHAT REMEMBRANCE DAY' means to you.
- A concluding sentence that sums up what you have written.
- Respond to a classmate in a way that shows you understood what they wrote about and you ask them a thoughtful questions about their response.
- Give one student feedback related to the paragraph criteria above (intro, 3 points, conclusion)
- Edit/revise your response based on the criteria above.
