Global Read Aloud In the morning, students had their last Gym Sense class. They engaged in the self/peer assessment process by completing a skills inventory. Later, we had our first official earthquake drill. It was Shake Out B.C. today. We modelled how to get under cover and how the safety procedures would work prior to students participating in the drill. Modelling is an integral part of the learning process and helps students understand what they are doing. In the afternoon, we spent a great deal of time reviewing practice questions and materials for the Math assessment tomorrow. During the Global Read Aloud, we saw images that inspired 'THE BRIDGE HOME'.
