LEARNING/PLANNER:
1.) READING: 30 minutes and log your reflection
2.) LA/WRITING:
- Continue editing your essay based on your criteria handouts.
- Ask siblings, friends, and your parents for feedback. You will have received more feedback from the teacher today. Improve your essay based on the feedback.
- Email me if you want me to take another look at your essay to give you some feedback.
- Essays will also be due next Wednesday.
3.) MATH:
- Complete 3.9 in the textbook.
- Complete any unfinished questions. Mark and correct at home.
- You may use a calculator but you must show all your work!
3.) SOCIAL STUDIES:
- Continue working on question #3 from pg. 109 (draw, colour, and label).
- Complete what you can. This will likely take a few days to complete this question.
- Complete any other assigned work from the teacher.
4.) POST A RESPONSE:
- LEARNING INTENTION: I can create an individual C-Chart for my behaviour during lessons.
SUCCESS CRITERIA:
1.) PARAGRAPH FORMAT: intro/body/conclusion
2.) BODY: Must include at least 5 criteria points that help you stay focused during lessons.
3.) GIVENS: Spelling, capitals, punctuation, grammar, and sentence structure.
4.) SELF-ASSESSMENT: Complete a self-assessment based on the above criteria and post a sentence after your paragraph stating what you need to improve.
5.) PEER-ASSESSMENT: Read one other student's paragraph and add one point that you feel they may want to include in their personal C-Chart for 'DURING LESSONS'. BE RESPECTFUL AND KIND.
6.) REVISION: Post your revised paragraph based on your self/peer assessments.
