The Novel Approach - Visible Thinking This morning, the students had their second Novel Approach lesson on 'Using background knowledge to make connections'. We modelled the visible thinking activity to the students using Green Day song lyrics. The students then completed their visible thinking activity using 'Remember Me' from the movie CoCo.
Later, the students in division 1 and 2 engaged in more self-assessment activities. All students reflected on learning intentions and success criteria to self-assess their Plant I.D. Projects. Click here for the handout. It was a busy day of 'LEARNING' on your path to ownership.
