Thursday: Valentine's Day

Happy Valentine's day!

Students shared Valentine's day treats, cards, and joy with one another, while continuing with their concrete poems, math review, and FSA assessments. In French, students also learned a song related to Valentine's day, adding gestures to help them understand and remember the vocabulary.

Well, I have looked at the song and it had a section of hearts and Mr.Hong said it was related to valentines day but I have read the comments and they just say what Mr.Hong said but I still do not understand the song

According to the song, the most important thing is your heart/love. I think I agree with it because nothing is more important.
- When you are with your family, their love is more priceless, than all of those other things.
- If you didn't love, you wouldn't be a good person, you would just be greedy. Also, you wouldn't be the kindest person.
- Your heart is the most important thing, so you would be a better, kinder person.

1: without love you can sometimes be stressed
2: without love there will be no peace
3: without love you cannot have a family

At 2:24 in the video, it talks about "l'amour dans mon coeur". Is that just talking about your physical heart? =)

I am sort of in the middle
Reason 1: obviously love and heart are important because if everyone hated you you would have a lot of stress
Reason 2: It is also not super important because not everyone needs to be loved to be happy
Reason 3: I also disagree because when you are loved, then that is also a chance for heartbreak.

I think the most important thing in the song is love. I agree with the song because loving your family is the most important thing in life.
- Love is one of best thing in the world you can have because it will always stay with you.
- Without love you would not know yourself you would just be caught up with bad thing being hated by a lot of people.
- Having love with you will get you really far in life because kindness is the key to a happiness.

I agree to the video a lot, but not all of it.
The most important things are my family, life, and it wouldn't be a magic carpet, but friends. Like what IceStone said, I might give up my life to help my family.

According to the song the most important things is love. I completely agree that love is more important that diamonds, gold, and all the other expensive things in the world.

Love is important because expensive things like diamonds are material things but love comes from the heart and loving one another gets you far in life.

Without love there would be a lot of hatred in the world and people would be fighting every time.

Without love people would not get married because of the hate. If you want to go fast go alone, if you want to get far go together with love.

In the song it says the most important thing on earth is love and I agree.
1 Reason is because if no one ever fell in love no one would ever get married and babies would never be born so humans would never be born.
2 If no one loved anyone people would always be mad and it would be an unhappy world.
3 And without love you would always be stressed.

"Die kosbaarste ding is taal" as implied by the song you need language:

1 Some people have the power to play with language the way an artist can create
2 Language can be used in poems and songs and letters and text messages
3 A lot of people say that French is the language of love; I think every language will have a way to express a full range feelings

- In this song the most important thing is your heart, but not your actual heart in your body. It's the love you have in your heart. I know this because I remember I have a lotion that is called Paris Amour.

- I do agree with this song because it's giving out a message saying that material doesn't matter, like your phone or your video games. I dearly care about my family and friends more than anything in this world. If you only cared about material items, then you don't have a true heart. Lastly, if you only loved the things that don't matter, then you really won't be very successful in life.

The most precious thing is love and feelings in the video.

I agree because
1) With no love there would be no humans (very little amount)
2) Without love there would be a lot of arguing between two people and something.
3)With no love there would need to be at least kindness to be in the world but love is almost well did, make us.

According to this song, love is the most precious thing. I agree on some terms but everyone has their opinions. love is precious because it is the one of many things keeping emotion and humans alive. Love has made many people different and without it is just simple, boring heartless life.

I agree with the song. The song was about having a heart/love. That's really important. First of all, if you didn't have love, you would have a depressed and sad life. Secondly, it's important to love your family because it brings you closer together. Lastly, if you didn't have love, then you would be very lonely, because you would be alone since you don't like anyone/

In the song it said the most precious thing in the world was love I agree becuase your parents love you and I guess that can help you sometimes. But if you don't have parents because of a freak accident and you are alone you can feel hurt inside thinking that you should have done things to show that you love them too.

I agree and disagree depending on what type of love.
I agree that you need love from your family, but you don't need it from anyone else, you could just have you family and be fine, you don't need a boyfriend but it would be nice to have friends but all the love you need comes from your family.
