During our Food Chain Interactions mini project, I have learned a couple things; like how mule deers are herbivores and how the scarab beetle is a detrivore. I haven't really gotten into how the organisms in the ecosystem I was given interact, so I will focus on that the next time we work on it. In my opinion, I think that if you introduce a non native predator into a certain ecosystem, the ecosystem would not be balanced. For example, the Mongoose and the rats in Hawaii. The mongoose were introduced into Hawaii to kill the rats, but at the end there was an overpopulation of mongoose.

During our food chain projects i have learned all of these diffrent types of animals and what they are. For example there are carnivores omnivores these are just a few of the types of what kind of animals are . Also when we are working on these projects i have learned how some organisims interact with eachother and what they will eat

I have learned a couple o things while doing the Food chain interactions project, like even microscopic plants need the sun and also what a detrivore is. I also learned that if you remove or add something else to the food chain it will ruin the balance.

I have learned a few things. One thing is how many creatures interact with each other all the time. I also learned that if one thing or the numbers in one speices falls or rises the balance is shifted. That will ruin the balance with each other.

While working on the Food Chain Interactions mini-project, I’ve learned that it’s really hard to have many strings connecting to one tack, or organism. Also, It’s fairly confusing trying to figure out where they lead. I’ve learned all levels of an ecosystem, which I had no clue even existed! I also learned what detritivores are, they sound cool, so I think I’ll look farther into them. ;) When a non-native species is introduced into an a new ecosystem, they can really muck up the order in the food chain. For example, the Cane toad was introduced to Australia in 1935. They have run a muck because they kill any predator that tries to eat them because of they seep poisonous fluids through their skin. As a result, the Cane toad has spread across Australia getting rid of predators that eat other animals, which really mucks everything up.

After working on the Food Chain Interactions mini project, I learned a couple of things. For example, I learned that a detrivore eats decaying animals, but while doing this project, it made me understand food chains more since it was also visual.

While I was working on the food chains interaction project I learned that animals are carnivores, detivores, herbivores, omnivores producers and consuers and so on and I learned what detrivores means and what animal is at the top of the food chain and who is at the bottom. If a non-native predator came in it might die off or eat all of one spicecs and it could mess up the ecosystem.

While I was working on this project about the food web interactions I learnd a couple of things I also learnd that if you just throw in more prey or more predators then the balance of the predators and prey would completely fall apart. Also a detrivore is an organism that eats dead or decaying organisms.

while working on the Food Chain Interactions mini project, I have learned a couple things! which is what detrivore means because i never knew that before. And that a detrivore eats dead organisms. And on the food web i learned how to put the animals (organisms) in the section there supposed to be in like producer, consumer, omnivore, detrivore and etc.

While I was working on The Food Chain Interations Mini Project I learned a few new things. I learned about a detrivore Iike what detrivore means and what a detrivore eats. I also learned that when you take away or add something in the food chain the food chain will get disrupted. I also learned how to orginize the organisims in different sections like Carnivores, Omnivores, Detrivores etc. If you were to put a non-native predator in an ecosystem the ecosystem would probably get disrupted.

While I was working on the Food Chains Interactions, I learned couple of things. I learned what decomposers and producers do to help the environment. I learned what kind of organisms interact with what. I also think that if you put a non-native predator in an ecosystem, the ecosystem would fall.

By doing the mini project in science class I learned that many food chains end in the same place. I learned that if you removed one organism from the food chain it could very well change the entire thing. This project taught me that the different food chains within an ecosystem are all connected in some way or another. If a non-native pretetor was introduced into an ecosystem in which it wasn't familiar it would definitely effect the prey. With more pretetors now in the ecosystem the prey would begin to die out, leaving the pretetors with no food. Therefore the would need to find something else to pray on further disrupting the ecosystems balance. Long story short it would be very bad for the ecosystem.

So far from working on this Food Chain Interactions Mini Project I have learned what a lot of different animals are categorized into and how you determine which group they are in. I also have leared that every animal on the food chain has it's place that it need to be in. One animal will eat another then a larger on will eat that animal. That's how it works, in a long chain also known as The Food Chain. Finally, I learned that putting in animals where they don't belong can really have a negative effect on the other animals around. An example would be like the one Mr Hong told us in which we were all living in the classroom and the if bears were to be brought in eventually the bears would eat all of us and the population of division 4 would no longer exist.

I have learned alot from this unit for example the process of turning sunlight into food is called photosythisus the food created is C6H12O66 i think.....any ways I have also learned the food chain groups they are herbavores, carnivores, omnivores, producers, scavengers, detrivores and decomposers.

While I was doing my mini project I learned what a detravore is, which I never knew what It was before. I also learned that not just 2 organisms make a food web.

Some things I learned so far working on my mimi food chain project that some of the animals in my food chain I never knew where they whent in the food chain like say producer, carnivore, omnivore, herbivore, and detrivore and decomposer so now that I worked on it a bit I learned where they fit in the food chain. Another thing I learned was every animal has to have a part in the ecosystem. If they put a non native animal in one of the ecosystems that they dont really belong in I think it would be bad because for an example say the ocean there is a lot of fish and say if someone puts a bear in the ocean it would be bad because the bear would be just eating all the ocean animals and food and than everyone in the ocean would be dead and if some of the animals in the ocean dont get killed they would probably still in a little bit die because they would starve of hunger and the bear would eat all the food.

From the Food Chains project, I learned that every single organism in an ecosystem is connected together. I think of it as a train moving up a hill. If you add another cart, the train probably wouldn't be able to get up the mountain. What I'm saying is that if you were to add another organism to the ecosystem, it wouldn't be balanced anymore. It's like when Hawaii had a problem with mice and they added mongooses. The mongoose population rose and the mice died out. The mice problem is gone but now, you have a load of mongooses.

Well Doing the Food Chains Project I learned What section animals went into on the food chain for example producer, carnivore, omnivore, herbivore, and detrivore and decomposer. I have learned that all parts of the food chain interact and that if you introduce a non-native predator all the prey could become endangered. Comments are closed.
