Character Development

Choose a character from your novel and discuss how this character has changed/developed throughout the story.

In your paragraph, you MAY want to include responses to these guiding questions:

1.) What this character was like at the beginning of the story?
2.) Did this character change? Why? Why not?
3.) Were there any major events in the story that allowed you to learn more about the character? Explain.
4.) Did any other characters help shape the character you chose? What did the other character do that caused a change in your chosen character?
5.) How does your character see the world? Why?
6.) What is a powerful phrase quoted by the character you chose?
7.) What is your character's life like? Has it changed at all throughout the story?

You learned about gift of words and phrases in order to gain a better understanding of the novels. This weekend, please find a phrase/quote from the novel that stood out to you and explain what it means in the context of the story. (Do not include ones from your booklets)

When blogging, be sure to keep the criteria in mind. You will submit an example to be assessed at the end of your novel.

1.) POST A RESPONSE:

Post a 'Powerful Phrase' that stood out to you.
Explain why the phrases stood out to you? (connections, comments, questions, misunderstandings, etc)
Post a minimum of 2 responses to someone else's 'POWERFUL PHRASE' and do your best to reply to any questions/comments your 'POWERFUL PHRASE' receives.
