3.) POST A RESPONSE: Based on what you know about photography, describe this photo and how it incorporates the different things you have learned so far. Please be sure to discuss how this image is reflective of 'The Rule of Thirds'. What is the focus and how has the photographer centred it on the hawk? This image was taken by Rich Legg and borrowed from his website. He is a very talented photographer! Visit this website to review the 'RULE OF THIRDS'. DON'T FORGET TO USE THER TERMS YOU LEARNED! 1.) SCIENCE 6/7 - Complete your collaborative notes (GOOGLE DOCS/DRIVE) with your group members. Make sure you have shared the document with everyone (that includes me).

You should have 2 sections. One for 'PRODUCERS IN FOOD CHAINS' which should include information about plants and phytoplankton and you must explain the process of photosynthesis.

In your 'CONSUMERS" section, you must include information about 'TOP CONSUMERS', 'CELLULAR RESPIRATION', and how Photosynthesis and Cellular respiration work together in a cycle.

You should 3 diagrams/images in total.

Be sure to use the GOOGLE DRIVE RESEARCH TOOL TO cite your information. If you see that information needs to be added, be sure to add it.

2.) WEBSITES - Continue with your updates. Feel free to give feedback to your classmates in their 'REFLECTIONS'.

3.) ART - Practice taking some photographs with your camera. Focus on the 'COMPOSITION' and 'PERSPECTIVE'. If you want to share, please send them to my email address and I will upload them to our website. Also, feel free to upload them to your own websites.

4.) POST A RESPONSE - What are some things that you should keep in mind when using perspective in your photographs?

5.) GROUSE GRIND - BRING YOUR FORMS SIGNED BY YOUR PARENTS TOMORROW! ALSO, WE NEED DRIVERS! PLEASE ASK YOUR PARENTS AND EMAIL ME TONIGHT. THANKS.

1.) MATH 6/7 - Complete math booklet (Probability) if you didn't finish them in class.
2.) LA - Complete worksheets if you were unable to complete them in class.
3.) GROUSE GRIND - Make sure you bring your forms and money tomorrow. Tomorrow is the last day to hand them in.
4.) POST A RESPONSE: Take a look at Steve Murray's photograph that he took for National Geographic magazine. This photograph is of an 12 year old girl from an Afghan school that was located in a refugee camp. What is the message that is conveyed from this photo? What do you think most people will focus on when look at this image? What do you think this girl is thinking?

1.) Post a response: Look at Steve Ludlum's image on the left and write a deep reflection. He won the Pulitzer Prize for this image (Breaking News Photography). What emotions does this image evoke? How does it make you feel? What is the message that it conveys? Why is this such a powerful image?

1.) POST A RESPONSE: When most people think about Albert Einstein, we think of a very intelligent and serious man. This is the most famous photograph ever taken of Albert Einstein. As you can see, he is sticking his tongue out at the photographer (Arthur Sasse). What do you think is the message the photographer tried to capture with this photograph? Do you think most people still think he was a very serious person even after seeing this photograph?
2.) SCIENCE 6/7 - Complete your 'DECOMPOSER' worksheet.
3.) Learning Journey - If you haven't already uploaded your presentations and artwork, upload them and write a meaningful reflection about what you learned.
4.) Vote on the poll question on the right side of this page.
5.) Grouse Grind Field trip - Please bring your $7 for the field trip on Monday. I have emailed a copy of the permission form to you, so if you are able to, please print it off and have it signed for Monday. If not, I will give you one on Monday.
