1.) LA/WRITING - Complete your first draft of your essay. Most of you are working on your conclusions. Use the organizer to write out your essay by hand, be sure to type it out and make the obvious edits/revisions. Save your file to Google Docs or your DropBox accounts.
2.) ART - Bring a couple of pieces of coloured tiles if you want to add some 'LIFE' to your tiling projects. We will start this on Monday.
3.) MATH 7 - No video. Finish worksheet 5.3 if you haven't done so yet.
MATH 6 - Ask your fellow classmates. I don't have your assignment from Mrs. Van
with me.

3.) ART - Ask your parents to take you to the Home Depot or somewhere that sells tiles if you want some coloured ones for your art project. We will start the tiling on Monday.

1.) MATH 7 ALL UNFINISHED WORK - Section 5.1 Pg 198-199 Questions #5 and 8 (draw the diagrams to scale). Also, you must complete the 5.2 worksheet. I searched for some interesting 'AREA' videos to show you but couldn't find any that were worthwhile. You will have a quiz tomorrow on the area of a parallelogram and the area of a triangle. Have your Decimals tests signed by your parents.
MATH 6 - NO HW.
2.) LA/WRITING - Post your edited/revised introductory paragraph that you worked on in class today by 'REPLYING' to your original post. Click here to post.

1.) POST A RESPONSE: Post a website/video/url that you think contains good information about 'ECOSYSTEMS'. Remember, it must pass the RELIABILITY TEST! If you forgot what makes a reliable website, simply refer to the document in your Google Docs.

2.) MATH 7 - Complete Worksheet 5.1 and Pg 197-199 Questions #1-7(show all your work).
MATH 6 - Complete pg 246-247 Questions #2,5,8,9, and 12.
3.) LA/WRITING - Click here to post your introductory paragraph. You must have your introductory paragraph completed by tomorrow morning. IF YOU DO NOT HAVE IT COMPLETED, YOU WILL BE UNABLE TO PARTICIPATE IN TOMORROW'S CLASS AND YOU WILL ALSO RECEIVE A TALLY.

1.) ART - Complete sketches. They must be fine-lined. If you have a scanner, scan your image into your computer and send it to your gmail.
2.) LA - Complete your brainstorming for Monday. Bring all your novels to school.
3.) SOCIALS - Work on your Prezi. Remember, you must relate all of the Charter Rights and Freedoms to an example of persecution from one of your novels.

1.) MATH 7 - UNIT TEST TOMORROW! Complete Pg 187-188 #1-3, 5, 6-9, 12, 13, 15, and 16. Mark all the questions using the answers in your text and come to class with any questions you might have. I will be in my class from about 8am tomorrow morning, so feel free to come to school early if you have any questions.

2.) LANGUAGE ARTS - SEARCH YOUR HOUSE FOR YOUR PERSECUTION NOVELS AND BRING THEM BACK!
3.) POST A REPONSE: If the Canadian government decided to remove 'FUNDAMENTAL FREEDOMS' from the Charter, it would drastically change our country. In a short paragraph, 'PERSUADE' the government to reconsider their decision.
5.) FRENCH - Quiz next Thurdsay. TOPIC: 'ER' VERBS, PRESENT TENSE.

2.) PREZI - Work on your prezi that you started last week on the charter and your persecution novels. You do not have to finish it for tomorrow, but try to find some time to a little work on it.

2.) Socials - Complete the 'YOU MUST INCLUDE' section on your Charter of Rights and Freedoms Criteria sheet (shared with you in Google Docs - this is the same one that was handed out in class). Remember, do not do work for each right and freedom, just for the number you were assigned.
3.) POST A RESPONSE - What do you think Canada would be like without the Charter of Rights and Freedoms? Try to relate it to the right/freedom you were assigned.

5.) GRADE 7 MATH HW QUESTIONS
- There were 700 students and 200 of them passed the examination. What percent of the students passed the test? How many and what percent of the students failed the exam?
- Out of 10,000 iPod touches sold worldwide, 7% of them are defective. How many iPod touches are defective? What percent work properly? How many work properly?
- The Surrey school district employs 1000 teachers. 830 of them are female. How many are male teachers? What percent of the teachers are male?

2.) ART - Complete tiling template.
3.) LA - Most of you have finished, but if you haven't completed your edits/revisions of your original responses according to the feedback given to you by your peers, make sure it is completed by Tuesday.

4.) POST A RESPONSE: Give an example from 'A BOY WHO DARED' that relates to 3 different rights/freedoms (Choose from any of the 9 rights/freedoms). Show how an event from the story shows why the right/freedom is important.
