VIDEO LINKS: Learn to Write a Conclusion Today, students had the UBC Commerce students visit our class for their third visit on entrepreneurship. Today, they learned about artificial intelligence. They will be planning and creating drawings of a robot this month. In math, students learned how to use order of operations and listened to a wonderful song about it. In Writing, we continued learning about different types of essay hooks. IMPORTANT: 1.) ICE SKATING: Return forms asap. PARENT VOLUNTEERS, please be sure to have your informatino verified by bringing in your volunteer drive form and license to Ms. Horne. 2.) IN Math, the excitement was amazing! Students were actively engaged in their work and loved every minute of it! The learning during math was amazing! Today, you made much progress on your inquiry projects. You will have time every day this week to finish it up. We will be presenting on Friday. In Writing, we reviewed essay structure and continued working on our intro paragraph and our body paragraphs. In math, we were able to learn how to convert fractions to decimals and decimals to fractions. We will continue practicing this tomorrow. IMPORTANT: 1.) ICE SKATING FIELD TRIP: Return volunteer driver forms and permission forms ASAP. Tomorrow if possible. Please do not leave it until the last minute.
