It was a wonderful day full of recognizing how far all of the students have come and what they have achieved! Keep on setting your goals high and working hard to achieve them! ![]() Today, students performed their dance routines in front of the class. The different styles of dance ranged from hip hop to ballet. The students were able to follow the student generated criteria perfectly! We will upload some of the performances shortly to our class YouTube channel. 1.) We are lucky that she was able to take time out of her busy schedule to speak to us. The students learned much about taking action, being responsible citizens, and being agents of change! 1.) The weather forecast is not looking good. ![]() Today, the grade 7 student celebrated a successful year by visiting PLAYLAND! It was a great way to celebrate a wonderful 3 terms of learning. VIDEO LINK: To be updated ![]() Today, the students learned about archaeology and the different skills that go into retrieving artifacts from long ago. The students brainstormed and created a concept map with the class with their ideas. It was really interesting for the students to see that the skills required for being a good archaeologist, translates into skills necessary for life in general. A little hard work, dedication, and patience, can get you far in life! 1.) REVISION OF WORK: Today you received the assessments for your math, art, LA, and French projects. If you would like to revise and resubmit your work, you can do so before Monday June 24th. After you have made the revisions, you need to let Ms. Fei know about the changes you made through this Google Form. These are ideas for improving your projects:

They had an opportunity to see first hand how hard work, practice, and dedication can translate into a wonderful production! They have been busy creating unique sequences of dance steps that flow smoothly. They generated a criteria for their routines as a class and are working closely with it to ensure they meet and/or exceed all expectations. Each group has been learning about different styles of dance and had the freedom and choice to create sequences using any style of dance. 1.) ![]() Today, all of our Gr. 6/7 students hiked up the Grouse Grind. Our fastest student completed the Grind in just over 43 minutes. All of our students beat their previous times from term 1. They have all worked hard throughout the year to build their stamina and endurance in anticipation of this year end event. They have all participated in moderate to vigorous physical activities throughout the year. Well done students! 1.) VIDEO LINKS: To be updated ![]() Today, the students started mentally preparing for the challenge that is ahead of them. Tomorrow will be their second Grouse Grind of the year. Each of the students have worked on their cardiovascular health and have been participating in moderate to vigorous physical activities on a daily basis since September. All students are expected to beat their times from their first Grouse Grind in term 1. As an additional incentive, any student who beats Mr. Hong will be given a prize. Mr. Hong is an old man, so most of the students should be able to beat him. 1.) SOCIALS/LA: Prepare for your presentation. You will present on Wednesday and Thursday of this week. Students will be chosen randomly so everyone must be ready to present on Wednesday. 2.) E-FOLIOS: Continue to update your learning reflections based on the criteria we have been using since the beginning of the year. VIDEO LINKS: Grouse Grind World Record Holder ![]() Dear students of div 4, Thank you for your energy, enthusiasm, cooperation, and creativity toward your learning! From the first day that I met you (Sept. 27, 2012), I was impressed by your talents and skills in so many different areas. It has been wonderfully rewarding to see you continue to learn and grow in those areas and in new areas over the past 8 months. Thank you (and Mr. Hong!) for such thoughtful and special farewell memories and gifts. It has been my honor to be your student teacher- I am so blessed to have had you as my first class!
