We a very small number of students returning to school on Monday. I will meet these students at the front of the school at 9am. I am looking forward to seeing these 4 students! We will be doing as much as possible outdoors and will be following all district protocols and procedures to keep everything sanitized and will be respecting social distancing measures as much as possible.

Good morning! Thank you to all parents who completed the district survey and the division 2 survey last week. The information you provided will allow us to plan accordingly. I will update you as I learn more. Your parents can email me directly with their questions and concerns. Remember, it is optional. Please remind your parents to complete it as it is extremely important so we can find out more about what your plans are for June 1st and the possible return to school. - Thesis statement has clearly stated the three main ideas that will be discussed in the body paragraphs.
4.) Check the above criteria to make sure you have completed it.

DAILY ROUTINES

Waking up at a regular time, eating breakfast, washing your face, brushing your teeth, etc. It helps us get our day started and also helps us wind down at the end of the day. If you don't have any routines, you should think about how you can use daily routines to keep you focused and on track with school and life!

I enjoyed watching all the videos that were posted into the channels yesterday. It was clear to me who followed the criteria! Remember, criteria will lead you to success. Watching the examples from the link I provided you also give you great examples of how you can use success criteria to create an engaging cooking video. Today, you will improve your work!

TikTok Cooking!

COOKING! Today, you will not only work on your amazing cooking abilities, but you will use your personality, sense of humour, and digital editing skills to create an interesting and funny instructional video on how to create a snack, meal, drink, etc. Follow the instructions for ADST/ART closely. I will choose a few of the videos for our first video post on our class TikTok account. I know I have been talking about posting all year, but not it might actually happen! ;-)

5.) The first part of your video must introduce what you are making (learning intention) in a creative way.
6.) Must include pictures/videos/sound of all ingredients and if it is unclear what the ingredient is, you must use text to label it.
7.) Must include pictures/videos/sound of each stage of the cooking process.
8.) Your video must show your personality and sense of humour.
9.) Get Creative and remember, SOUND is important for this! Make sure the sound is clear and easy to hear. Think ASMR when you're making your video! ;-)

Happy Mother's Day from the students of Division 2! Thank you to all students who completed their homework! Happy mother's day to all mothers of the students of division 2! You have been so supportive of your child's learning this year! Your endless hours of keeping your kids on track and healthy have helped them in all that they do. They owe you a lot! This is a token of appreciation from the students of division 2! Thank you for everything you do!

Before submitting your final draft, you must complete one final peer-assessment. You will find out who your partner is in this morning's check-in.
You will go through your friend's Gift of Words, Thinking and Learning Questions, and powerful response to give final feedback using the rubrics/criteria.
You must provide your partner with feedback under each section and type this out in RED.
After you receive your feedback, you will make final edit/revisions. You must explain what you changed under each 'RED' section written by your peer.

5.) Organize your fridge for your family for easy and logically access to items (condiments, sauces, milk, drinks, vegetables, fruits, etc
6.) Take an 'AFTER" picture. Put your 'BEFORE' and 'AFTER" picture together side by side and posted it to FG and your photography channel.

This was due yesterday and I am still missing quite a few of your files. This is really important guys! Get this done right away before you do anything! I will show you examples this morning in case you are struggling.
