Liam and Mariko's grass specimen. It was a pleasure to see the love for learning the students displayed in Science class today. The students started learning about the different parts of the compound microscope and how to use is to focus their lens on a specimen. It was absolutely amazing to see how excited they were to learn today. For homework, students must go through the virtual simulation to see what each of the 4 specimens look like under the virtual microscope. Do your best to describe your observations in the post a response. Also, be sure to follow the instructions carefully. This weekend's post a response will take you a little longer than you're used to so be sure to put some time aside to work on it.
