- Fish in a tree was a wonderful read aloud book that we read over the first 2 months of school. We have also been learning about various reading strategies we can use to help us improve our comprehension.
- LEARNING INTENTION: I can share what I think the big idea of 'FISH IN A TREE' was all about and can include 2 connections using my background knowledge.
- SUCCESS CRITERIA:
1.) Paragraph format: intro/body/conclusion
2.) BODY: includes 2-3 examples from the story that supports your 'BIG IDEA'. These should
be 2 connections. Text to text, text to self, or text to world connections. What from
the book reminded you of something that is relevant to the big idea? Use your
background knowledge!
3.) SELF-ASSESSMENT: Check your work for the givens and the above criteria.
4.) PEER FEEDBACK: Give one student 2 things to improve on.
