Today, students learned about the law of electric charges. They saw a demo that showed them clearly how electrons can be rubbed off of one object and onto another creating both a positively charged object and a negatively charged object respectively.

The law of electric charges states:
1.) Unlike or opposite charges attract.
2.) Like or similar charges repel.

Also, work hard on your social studies projects today. However, don't stay up all night trying to finish it. Most of you have been managing your time wisely so I am confident you will be able to submit it tomorrow. Email me if you have any questions.

1.) MATH 6: Any assigned work.
MATH 7: Remainder of textbook questions and 6.1 worksheet.

2.) SOCIAL STUDIES: Research projects are due tomorrow! Artifacts are due on Tuesday!

3.) POST A RESPONSE:

Describe the law of electric charges in your own words.
Be sure to include information about the number of electrons (-ve) and number of protons (+ve) when describing a negatively charged object and a positively charged object.

4.) WESTERN DAY:

Dress for western day tomorrow! We also have a pancake breakfast tomorrow!

The rules of electricity is positive negative is more protons and neutrons for negative. And for positive is more electrons. And neutral is when there equal.

The Law of Electric Charges is that opposites attract and neutrals repel. For example if you have carpet and socks and they are both neutral, but after you rub them together, more electrons go to one object and more protons go to the other object do they are opposites and then they attract.

The law of electric charges are things that attract and repel things. For example if you have a balloon and you have a girls hair that is not to heavy or long then you can rub the balloon on her hair and then take it off slowly and her hair will stick up and onto the balloon like static.

The law of electric charges is opposites attract and negatives repel. Negatives are electrons, and positives are protons. When there are more protons then electrons, the charge is positive. If there are more electrons than protons, then it would be a negative charge. For example, magnets are opposites. But they attract because of the protons and electrons.

The law of electric charges is simple that opposites attract and and likes repel. Positives and negatives are both in a "charge," if there are more positives than negatives in an object, it is called a proton but if it is the other way around, it would be an electron.

One example of an electric charge is when you rub a balloon on someone's hair, the protons get rubbed off of the hair and onto the balloon so the balloon has more protons that the hair which then attracts. (it can be electrons as well)

A positive charge is an object with more protons than there are electrons. An example would be like a balloon that has been rubbed and either more electrons or protons have been rubbed on to it making it opposite charges. The second charge is a negative charge which has more electrons than the protons. The last one is Neutral which has an equal amount of protons and electrons.

A positive charge is when an object has more protons then electrons in it. A negative charge is when an object have more electrons them protons in it. Last, a newtrul charge is when an object has the same amount or protons and electrons.

If an object has the same number of electrons to the number of protons then the object is neutral so they will not attract they will repel. But if you have 2 objects and one has more protons or electrons then it is not neutral and if you touch it with an object that is neutral they will attract and stick.

The Law of Electric Charges states, "Unlike or opposite charges attract, and like or similar charges repel." But I am going to say it in my own words, as well as explain a bit more. If there is an object that has a more protons than electrons and an object that has a more electrons than protons, they will attract. But if there are two objects that both have more protons than electrons or more electrons than protons, they will repel. Neutral objects, which are objects with an equal amount of protons and electrons, don't do anything when they touch.

The law of electric charge is:
That opposite charges attract energy and similar charges repel energy.
If the object has the same number of protons and electrons then its called neutral, that means they will repel energy.
If you have, say 2 objects and 1 has more electrons than the other it is not neutral, if you touch it with a object that is neutral it will then stick together.

The positive rule is when there are more protons than electrons to make the positive charge, the negative charge is when there are more electrons than the protons, making it negative. The main rule is that items with the opposite amount of charges, will attract, meaning that they are unlike charges. Items with the same amount of charges will repel, meaning they are like charges.

The law of electric charges is pretty simple. Opposites attract. If to hints have the same charge nothing will happen because they are both staying neutral. But if one thing harps more protons (positive charge) that elcetrons (negative charge) or vice versa then it will work. When you rub a balloon on your head some of the protons or elcetrons rub off giving one thing more of the other so your hair sticks to the balloon.

Well the opposites attracted and that's allowing them to create electricity. For example if there were 5 positives in a balloon and 3 negatives that would mean its positive. Because there are more protons then electrons and then the circuit happens.
