Xaviery's Amazing Collage

PiToday, students continued working on digital photography. They continued making improvements to their collages by acting on the ir self-assessments and the feedback they received from their peers. They have been following their criteria sheets closely in order to create a 'quality' collage. They have been practicing using the skills they have learned about composition. They are proud of their work and seeing all their hard work come together in a unique photo collage. We can't wait to see the final collages printed out on photo paper.

3.) POST A RESPONSE:

List 5 things you have done this year that have improved your communication abilities/skills.
Also explain how it has improved the way you communicate your learning, thinking, and
This can include things from different types of technology, class websites, to drawing pictures for others, book clubs in Novel Approach, post a response comments, and even giving others feedback for assignments. There are a million things you can mention.
Try not to list things that have already been mentioned by other students. Try to mention things other students have not thought of.
Ask 2 students one question each about one of the things they have mentioned.

1. Book clubs in novel approach. It made me think what other people thought and also taught me to look in other perspectives.

2. Post A Response. This helped me learn what others thiught on the given questions on the website. And the same as #1 It taught me to look at other perspectives.

3. Community Building. This taught me people's personality I think we learnt lost with Community Building.

4. Monday Morning Meeting. This taught me how other people were doing in their life and how the felt.

5. Giving people Feedback on work. This taught me how I could make people thing in different ways.

1 class website . The website aloud me to communicate with my classmates and teacher outside of school. This is very handy, because I can Ask people for help.

2 Community building. This allows me to learn about my classmate. This creates a bond between me and my classmates.

3 book club. This allows me to share thoughts about a book. This will also allow me to hear other people opinion.

4 class discussions. This allows me to hear about my classmates opinion.

5. Monday morning meeting. This allows me to hear about classmates opinion and what they are doing in life.

1) Book club. It helps me to understand what other people are thinking and how I get to now them.

2) Giving feedback. When I give feedback to others it helps me to see what other people use to learn.

3 Monday Morning Meeting/MMM. It help me to understand what other people have been going through.

4) Community building. It's fun do community building because we can talk about anything it's fun to hear what others have been doing.

5) class discussions. It lets me to hear other people's opinions and see what they agree on.

1.The Feedback because you can communicate with your peers and tell them what to work on
2. Those times we have like big discussions about things you can know how smart people are
3. MMM because you can learn more about your peers
4. and same with community building
5. and book clubs because you can discuss things about your book

1.) My soccer team it helps me make more friends.
2.) P.A.R It helps me communicate with my classmates.\
3.)Monday Mourning meetings it helps me learn about other students who knows you might be able to make a friend.

1.) Book clubs- It has helped me because I was able to listen and learn from other people and how they think.
2.) M.M.M.- I learned how other people feel like when one person ruins it for everybody.
3.) P.A.R.- it helps me see what different ways there are to everything thing.

5.) Class discussion- I learned how to do thing appropriately and respect other and listen to their opinions.

1.) The Monday mornings made me want to speak up, although I have nothing to say.
2.) The PAR is one of the reasons why I like this class! I get to talk to poeple online and see their education ideas!! I can also share MY idea without having to speak up!
3.) In recess and lunch, I always feel like communicating to other students! Well, sometimes. I don't know why, but yeah, I do.
4.) In online games, I usually talk to my friends there (Like Roblox, Pixel gun 3D and Line play) It calms me down and makes me want to communicate to others more!!
5.) In class discussions where Mr Hong tells us what we're suppose to do and what we're not suppose to do helps me a lot. It's like giving feedback to all of us.

1.) writing it helped me with punctuation.
2.) photography because it helped me with taking pictures.
3.)regulating my zones. The first day I walked into class and got in trouble. (The first 5 mins).

Mr.hong I can't work On my art because my laptop doesn't work and when I try n use my phone it doesn't show the whole picture so u can't see wht exactly the word says so I can't get that done today.

Well though my liberiture has not gotten better my handwriting has gotten better via trial and error. At the beginning of the year my handriding was terrible but now its a little better. Not much but a little.

1.} Our class website because I can give people feedback and they can give me some back, and it gives us a chance to talk on here instead of talking face to face if your not comfortable with it.

2.} our discussions on Monday because it gives us a chance to share stuff about our personal stuff that's going on at home if we want to share it with others.

3.} Book clubs help us so we can be social with each other and it gives us a chance to share our opinions.

4.} The assessments that we do so we can give each other feedback which is helpful because it helps us know what we are missing.

5.} I play games like Line play and Roblox and other games that involve socializing with other people but sometimes I don't talk in games because people are rude in the game and stuff.

For number 1 novel approach has help me tye most because it helped me figure outhat my problems instead of giving on the the first go.

For number 2 I think that the criteria worksheet helps me because the beginning of the school year I was wandering about but now I stay at my desk usually

At number 3 we have tests, I put tees on here because it helps my push forwards instead of having to stay in one point and not learn anything.

Nearly the last I have the website, it helps me when I want to write something without holding me back because I control what I write. I'm not a robot that's programmed to write, talk , think.

The last one we have the zones of regulations these help me understand my emotions and solve a solution to calm down these feelings.

1.) Peer Assessment

Feedbacks from Mr. Hong and my classmates helped me communicate with others. It also helped me improved my work.

2.) Monday Morning Meeting

For me, when a bunch of people gather together and talk about what happened last weekend, what they did and stuff.. it makes me communicate with others well. However, I'm still feel nervous talking in a circle.

3.) P.A.R.

I like sharing my opinions on our class website. I don't feel nervous anymore.. I like seeing other people's opinions about something. It is also cool how Mr. Hong made this website.. I think it's better than writing our assignments on a piece of paper.

4.) Tests

If I have like 2 or more wrong answers in the tests, I would try to review it. It also helped how Mr. Hong go over some lessons so I can understand more.

5.) Online

I post my drawings in LINE PLAY. Some people requests and do art trades with me. It's fun because I get to communicate with them and they also give me prizes if I won in a drawing contests!!
