Big Idea

What I think the big idea for Rudolph is to except everyone even if they look different or does things differently and don't bully someone if they look differently.

Why I think this is that is because when Rudolph was younger he was being called names by looks and was not invited to any activities.

Big Idea:

Don't judge people by the way they look or act because you never know if their a famous reindeer who is Santa's main reindeer.
For an example, Rudolph got to be the lead of all other reindeers because of his look. All the other reindeer made fun of him, but now they love him.

Big idea of the Rudolf

The big idea in my eyes is that karma exists. Rudolf first started getting bullied and excluded but then Santa came and asked Rudolf to guide the slay. For any old reindeer it would be an honor to guide SANTA'S sled.

Ok i know the story of Rudolf even if I wasn't at school I'll try doing me best while writing this.

Big Idea:

Treat people with respect not everyone looks the same everyone is unique in there own way.

Example:

Rudolf was different the thing that made him different was his shiny bright nose he didn't like his nose because he was bullied by other reindeers but santa saw something else besides his looks he saw his heart and how special he was. he obviously didnt want a regular reindeer he wanted a unique reindeer such as Rudolf to lead his sled. The thing is its not ok to make fun of others treat people how you want to be treated.

I like your point of view. It is unique and I don't think any other students in the class wrote this on their visible thinking sheets!

How do you think Rudolph felt when they asked for his help after they had mistreated him?

Rudolph's so called "Friends." are not real friends because once Santa asked him to guide his sleigh all the reindeers became his friends just because he got chosen by santa.

They were acting like his friends because they didn't want be a disgrace to Santa.

Then one foggy Christmas eve Santa came to say
"Rudolph why your nose is so bright, would you guide my sleigh tonight😎😎😎?"

All of the other reindeers loved him and shouted out with glee.

I think that it is don't judge people by their looks. The others where not letting Rudolph play or hang out with them because of his nose. He was also getting picked on , What Ozem said there where acting like there where friends cause Santa told him to guide his sleigh~Jacob

Big Idea: I think the big idea is to not use people just because they hAve something you need to use

Example: in the first part of the song they wanted nothing to do with him but since it was a foggy night they needed his bright nose to guide the way.

Big idea

Treat others how you want to be treated. Also EMPATHY

Evidence: they treated Rudolph bad because of his looks I'm sure if they had a disability or a "bad" look they would be sad.

Example: if I had a meesed up hairline I would be sad if others were making fun of it. So the reindeer should have empathy for Rudolph and just leave him alone or say "hey your nose looks cool."

Thats my opinion on the story \poem.

I think the big idea is don't judge a book by its cover and what's on the outside doesn't matter what matters is on the inside the evidence is Rudolph was teased for his nose but in the end it help him santa and all the other reindeer.
BTW MR.hong I got a new Rubik's cube can I solve it in front of the class???

I think the big idea is to never leave people out even though their different. I think this because the other reindeers made fun of Rudolph 's red nose, but later in the song Rudolph saved Christmas with his red nose by using it a flashlight.

All of the other other reindeer made fun of Rudolph and did not let him play the games they play. If I was Rudolph I would go in my house and start crying. But why did all of the other reindeer like Rudolph after Santa told Rudolph to lead his sled shouldn't they reindeer still hate him.

Big Idea:

Don't judge other people by their looks and treat others equally.

Evidence:

Reindeers bullied Rudolph because of his shiny bright red nose. There was this one time when they didn't let him play with them because of how he look. They should treat him right because they're all the same.
Santa was happy when Rudolph agreed to lead the sled. Because Santa wanted to show the other reindeers that he has a unique talent everyone doesn't have. Even though reindeers are still the same, every single one is uniquely different in their own different way. The other reindeers liked him little by little after that... I wondered if they said "Sorry." to him? (lol).

I think the big idea is about racism because the reindeer bullied Rudolph for being different but once Santa came along and excepted Rudolph THEN they liked him like for example if a dark skinned person gets bullied but then he becomes famous then the bullies are nice to him
