David borrowed a book from the public library!

Today, students enjoyed their first band class with their instruments. I am happy to see all of the grade 7 students participating in band this year! I have never had a class where all my students joined school. The band teacher must be very inspiring! In Art, we continued working on the Picasso self-portraits and one of our students, David, extended his learning over the weekend by borrowing a book about Picasso! Thank you for bringing the book in for our class read aloud! In Language Arts, students learned how to use quotation marks properly. Many students had 'AHA MOMENTS!'

i looks real to me because mr hong posted a video of a tree octopus camouflage and the website Tree Octopus there was a short video of a tree octopus climbing a tree and people say they had sightings of a tree octopus on a tree in real person and in picture that was taken in the forest or climbing on the side of a mountain so jesse your wrong!!! :P

I think that video was really fake because it's like you take a fish out of water and say it's gonna live but you know it's not gonna live since it needs water lol. Its the same with this video octopus live in water not in a tree lol 😂. And as my classmates said it looks blurry😑 And the same thing goes for those penguins when they started to fly I was laughing. Becuase it's like they cut out the penguins and put them on a screen even if I came late and was sleepy I could tell it was blurry and fake🌝.

Tree octopus is fake. The page has very little information and the video link is Photoshop because where does that octopais moisture come from? Its pretty clear this is fake. However this can be real. Octopus are prey to some underwater preatitors so maby if how this species hide. They come on land and go on a tree for a short while of time then they go to the ocean or were ever they came from.

I believe the tree octopus is Fake! I've looked over the data and I'm like, what? So i believe it fake because a octopus lives in the ocean and this lives in the trees. also the videos I've watched about the tree octopus are Kinda looked blurry at the end of them and edited.
I believe they want us to donate money to them so they become rich! I watched a video from they're website and it was posted in 2008. what? things change. That's why I believe this "tree octopus" is a fake thing that people made up so they can get rich.

Third after i watched the tree octopus camouflage i searched other videos on you tube and all of them seemed fake to me . there was this one video i saw and they said people found a bambo octopus which was pretty interesting. Fourthly(this is a question) how could they live in such hot temperature ,wouldn't they dry out like starfish? Fifthly would they have predator in the rainforest?

If it was real it would have been updated and there is only one website about it 2nd) when I searched for more information about tree octopus there was two three videos posted from the same person 3rd) The website has .net wich isn't reliability 4) because mr Hong tricked with the other video I think it's fake

I checked the video to see when it was posted,and I saw it was 7 to 6 years ago and it looks digitally enhanced in my opinion.I tried to check the comments but didn't see anything,and like Jared said they might just want views for money to get rich.If they were real wouldn't the octopus be scared and camouflage but in the video it's just sat there on the tree branch.

I think this is fake because how long has this animal been on Earth? Do we even know if it's new? I think this "Tree Octopus" is blurry like Jacob, Logan, and others said. Who discovered the tree octopus? is the finder still alive? I haven't seen this on the new yet. Since the picture of the tree octopus is a bright red and the bald eagles can see it from a mile away or so, will the already be extinct? But Since Mr.Hong showed us a video of a tree octopus camouflage, that kinda looked transparent like David said. But, I googled tree octopus and there's a lot of pictures of the tree octopus. So the real question is Is it real? Or its it Fake?

My thoughts on the Tree Octopus

A: It did support the evidence very well but left some openings for it to be fake.

P: The purpose of the info was to teach students to use something like the Craap test. But in my opinion i think it was suppose to be about getting the money.

( 1 ) Hmmmm......in my perspective of the website I think it's fake because octopus live in water it's like you take away food from a kid what's the kid gonna do its gonna get angry😑. ( 2 ) Just like my fellow classmates said it can be fake or real there can be a possibility of the tree octopus being real scientists discover new animals every day and we have yet too discover the whole plant so I don't really know what to believe but I do think its fake. ( 3 ) I watched the video of the octopus and I had to read the whole website but I think that the information was not reliable at all PS the video looks kinda of blurry and old like a old pair of shoes. ( 4 ) And the other reason I think it's fake because it looks photoshopped there are some people that do a good job Photoshopping but you can tell it's fake. ( 5 ) plus how is that octopus so smooth lol if it was a tree "octopus" I think it would be kinda of dry looking!!.

The "Tree Octopus" website was published in 1998 by Lyle Zapato, I saw that the information was updated a few days or months or something ago... I believe, the audience is for students if they could tell if it was fake or not. The website did give a few evidence on it, but, I could tell it was really fake. It said, "Spread Awareness and Help a Tree Octopus with our Tree Octopus Activities..." Like, come on! How can an octopus remove a treat from a smol little box XD lol. The author maybe needs more money to get rich and he ask some people from school to make a fake website for students and BAM! They did.
