Elements of Art - LINE

Today, you learned about the elements and principles of art and design. Mr. Redican taught you about lines and how they are all around us in nature and art. Click here to review a little bit about where we see lines.

1.) MATH: Complete all order of operations worksheets.

2.) SCIENCE/SOCIALS: You will hand in your adaptations projects on Monday after having your final class to work on your posters. Complete as much as possible from home over the weekend.

3.) POST A RESPONSE:

In your own words, please explain what the learning intention was for Mr. Redican's lesson? (Think back to the topic of his lesson and what he wanted you to learn)

The learning intention in mr. redecons lesson was about using toothpicks to make thick lines and turning it into something. L.I: I can make thick lines with tooth picks.

LI I can understand how you can make art with lines
I met the learning intention
Mr Redican wanted us to learn that you can make wonderful art with lines
I met the learning intention by doing what I was supposed to
We made kind of like a drawing but with tooth picks
With out lines we can't draw and there would be no connect the dots

LI: I can understand how to make the art with lines :3
In mr redicans class we used popsical sticks to make art via lines and he even showed us a fvideo of ull little town made of them.
I believe I met the exepetations since I at least tried hard and I made my work look nice :3

I met the LI by fallowing the LI and listening to Mr.Redican.
I think the it was fun.
We made thick lines and we tried to make words or pictures.
Lines help in art because with out lines you can not make designs and we used toothpicks.

L.I: I can understand and do the elements of line art.
I have Reached the L.I because I worked hard and understood it.
We Played around with toothpicks. He told us to make a figure with thick lines. ( I did the forever alone face XD) Lines can help in art because you can use different sizes of lines for art.

I met the learning intention by using toothpick to create an image.
We used toothpicks to make an image. The toothpicks are the lines.
Lines help in art because it forms a design. Like in drawing you use lines to form the thing your drawing.

Yes. I learned how important lines are in art.

I met the learning intention by trying different designs to match the thing...

Last week, we did thick lines. It was fun because most students have good design on it. Today, we did thin and curve lines. I did the head of the rose.. Mr. Redican took a picture of all our work because it was almost recess or lunch...?

Lines are everywhere around us... you can't escape them. Wherever you look they're always there. Lines helps us plan out the things we wanted to make. For example, if you wanted to draw something like a house, you have to use lines in order to design the house you wanted.

I think I met the learning intention (I learned what he wanted to teach us)

We were making anything we wanted using thick or thin lines so I just started doing what I had to do then it for more fun,it was way easy now cause I learned how to do it

Lines are like structures of art if there is no line there is no connection,if there is no connection there is no art
