FUN DAY TOMORROW!

Today, students started thinking about where we, as humans, originated from. We started brainstorming on the board and the following words were written down: DNA, evolution, cells, primates, religion, beliefs, natural selection, and dinosaurs to mention a few. The students had many questions and our discussions were very deep. Dyamontae had such great conversation starters and it is clear the others are just as great!

PARENTS: Meet the Teacher Night Open House at 6:30-7:00 tonight.

1.) Math: Complete booklet #13 if you haven't already completed it.

2.) P.A.R.: Complete all past post a response assignments on our class website.

3.) Passion Project/Me Project:

Use your brainstorming from today to start collecting and creating pictures and videos.
For tonight, start collecting items for your 3 passions and your culture.

4.) POST A RESPONSE:

Explain in your own words, your definition of 'EVOLUTION' and give one example of an animal or something else that has evolved over time. Use a different example than what your classmates have already posted.
Give one other student feedback on what he/she can do to improve their post.
Edit/revise your post based on your self-assessment of today's assignment and the feedback you receive.

Evolution
========
Evolution is a sign of growth for each and every living thing. Some living organisms can grow fast (like a baby bear) and some takes a lot of time to grow (like a tree.)
Evolution is part of the environment too. Every single change even if it's tiny can make a BIG change to the environment too. Even extinction can cause a big change. New things are found in places all because of evolutions. So be careful what you're going to take down because it might be a new source to a new species.

Evolution:Something that makes the living being change form to posses something new every time it happens.
Examples: elephants are loosing their tusks through evolution and lizards are dancing to protect them self from fire ants

Evolution happens to everyone and everything for example like Pokemon when they evolved they get bigger and stronger.
We evolved from monkeys or primates when we evolve our brain get better.
Everything on earth has bin changing sense 3 billion years.
Scientist elieve that dinosaurs are still a live to this day but hiding a something else.

So evolution is things changing over time like Pokemon once your Pokemon becomes a certain level he evolves to a different Pokemon
And like animals over time they change like what Mr.Hong said a Giraffe was maby a horse with a short neck and then like 1million years later it's a Giraffe and that's Evolution.

Evolution is a interesting thing to talk about and I love how it is actually a reality.
Evolution is how a animal changes during time like us.
The first cell organism was the amoebas then it more cells and then it turned to either bacteria and virus or into the first ever living animals. The ones that live underwater and after that it was the animals that just started to learn how to walk on land.
Then monkeys and things came around then humans.

Evolution is super cool and is really interesting on how this works.
Evolution is a process that takes billions of years to happen.
Evolution is how an animal or living thing adapts to the environment it live in.
The first "cells" were called amoebas which are the first ever organism which mostly live in water. They're so tiny you need a microscope to even see them.
its interesting that how this works and we would not be here today if evolution wasn't here.

Evolution is when something or someone grows and becomes bigger and stronger.For example...Lets just say its a frog.A frog starts in an egg.And then hatches into a Tadpole and into a frog with a tail.Its not a complete frog though.After that,it transforms into a COMPLETE frog.Thats an evolution.

Evolution
Long time ago we humans were said to once be moneys, then cave men and then humans.
Humans are incredibly intelligent when compared to other living things. Humans were evolving for over a billion years so they are all so considered moneys because Jane, discovered monkeys can also use tools suck as sticks, rocks and vine.
We humans evolved so far the line we were capable to make electronics.

EVOLUTION: This is something that evolves people and animals overtime . scientist and people believe that we came from neanderthals (also known as monkeys). But other people can also believe in different thing like RELIGION. Humans come from CELLS which evolved overtime . But people say that we came from monkeys long time ago . (how did this happen ) well, scienctist believe that a bone in the monkey called the "pelvis" originally started off slanted that why they only walked on two legs and two arms, but as years went by they started to walk on two feet ,than later the "pelvis got straight and than we came ( billions years later) but like i said earlier other people have they're own opinion and they have they're own beliefs.

Evolution is when animals adapt and evolve to become stronger or smarter.These evolutions take millions of years.We know this because we were whatching Bill Nye The Science guy,crazy and smart guy🤓
Evolution=Humans were evolving for billions of years,people said that we were cavemen.But for me I don't really think it's true because I'm a Christian.Humans have evolved to build, and craft compare this to other animals,when you tell them to build something they don't understand because they are not intelligent,but human are smart we were able to build weapons to survive.Over time we adapted we got smarter making technology me enhanced.Monkey,Apes,Gorilla don't evolve because they don't have to they are already adated to their environment

Evolution is when a living thing gets bigger and it changes over time it can take millions to billions of years. Example dancing, dancing has been around for a long time and it has evolved over time back in the day they used to oxtrot,swing, waltz. Now, our generation does the whip,nae-nae,running-man, and the dab.

Is the change in the characteristics of a species over several generations and relies on the process of natural selection. The theory of evolution is based on the idea that all species are related and gradually changed overtime. For example, the owls that are changing colors that are from Finland. They change their color when climate changes so that, predators can't see them.

Evolution is when something changes over long periods of time and it dose not happen in days. The theory was started on 1858 and the person who started it his name is Charles Darwin. For example dinosaur. Dinosaur changed into birds and it is just a theory.

Snakes
Snakes are usually known for living on land and hot climates,but some areas around the world have under water snakes.
That means that there adapting to different climates.
That's evolution when a species from human to animals change and become better and stronger or even faster.
What's fascinating about snakes without venom strangle there prey that's mean they over time learned.

Evolution Is something that goes through history and changes everybody or everything for example: phones!! there was no Apple phones like the ones we have today back then they use to have land line phones and flip phones etc and other stuff that evolved over time is dancing,singing,car,phones,clothes ect.
