Today, the students learned more about the zones of regulation. We discussed the learning language that we will be using this year and the importance of self-regulation. We discussed behaviour that is 'EXPECTED' and behaviour that is 'UNEXPECTED'. In addition to this, we learned how everyone's behaviour has either a positive effect or negative effect on people.

I think it’s great if u help somebody because it helps the environment and etc. U can help others by helping them if their carrying bags that are heavy. U can also help others by helping elders that are walking on the streets and also ask if they need help. It doesn’t need to be a walking person u can also help animals. Also can help people that doesn’t have legs or arms.

If you are kind to someone they will be kind to you in return. That's the big idea. Also the title is called the kindness BOOMERANG, because boomerangs are know to come back to you when you throw them. I think that we should all be kind to everyone around us because we should treat others how we want to be treated. The construction worker helped the boy who feel down, which put him in a happier mood. Then the boy helped an old lady and she helped someone else and that person helped another person and it all came back too the construction worker who helped the boy. As I said, it's a kindness BOOMERANG. That what I think is the main idea of the video.

@ Emily - Wow! I really like how much detail you've put into your writing. I especially liked how you gave strong supporting details and examples. One recommendation for next time is to be careful of overusing "and". I know how much you want to say about it, but just make sure it's not a run-on sentence. Otherwise, I extremely liked reading your piece of writing! :)

"Remember there's no such thing as a small act of kindness. Every act of kindness creates a ripple with no logical end." This video is about the Kindness Boomerang. In the video, the construction worker does an act of kindness which triggers a chain for others to be kind. At the end, someone does something nice back to the construction worker. That's what it meant by a Kindness Boomerang. Kindness has a ripple effect, as the quote says. What you do can affect others, and that's exactly what we learned today in class! When you act kindly, others will too. At the end, you'll get something nice back. I really liked this message that the video gave. After watching this video, I hope that I can find more ways to help others, knowing that there's always an opportunity for another act of kindness!

In the video, the construction worker helps a kid up which triggers a chain for others to be kind. At the end, the servant gives a glass of water back to the construction worker. That's what it meant by a Kindness Boomerang. Kindness has a ripple effect, as the quote says. What you do can affect others, and that's exactly what we learned today in class! When you act kindly, others will too. At the end, you'll get something nice back. I really liked this message that the video gave. I also liked the fact that everyone's strangers to each other. Even then, everyone can find a way to help each other. After watching this video, I hope that I can find more ways to help others, knowing that there's always an opportunity for another act of kindness!

The big idea or main idea of the video is kindness is like a boomerang. When you say or do something nice to a person eventually it will all come back to you in the end. In the video the construction worker helped the skateboarder get back up when he fell. During that fall he may have felt a little frustrated or annoyed. When the construction worker helped him up it, he felt the kindness and passed it on to the old lady. Just like that the old lady passed it on to the lady who didn’t have change. Then the lady passed it on to the man. In conclusion kindness can get passed on like a wave.

Does it matter when someone is in the red or yellow or blue you should try to help someone.

helping someone can bring joy to you or them thats why this is good this is a good thing to do. if someone is really needed help that would only take 3,4 minutes please do it. i hope you all realized the importance of helping others.

Second! We must ALWAYS help others. The things that people should not do is yell, scream, injure, kick, punch, push, throw things, distract others and flip things.Even if we say we are okay, sometimes we are dishonest. If you are mad, talk it out, walk away, drink water or stand outside to calm down. You could eat something to calm down too. If you injure others, you should say sorry.

People who get unexpected actions caused towards them may be injured, threatened or scared, they must go find an adult. Sometimes I lose it when something bad happens to me. When a Creeper blew up my castle in Minecraft. I went completely ballistic. I was so disappointed. But I let go, and made a new one. Sometimes you have to let things go.

Aesop once said: "no act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted." I strongly agree with Aesop. No matter if you feel sad, angry, or worried, a random act of kindness will make you happy again.

In the video, the construction worker sees the boy fall off his skateboard and rushes over to help him up. The boy may have been feeling hurt or sad, but the construction worker's kind heart made the boy happy again. The boy, newly refreshed, sees an old lady struggling to lift up some bags, so the boy carries the bags for her. The old lady crosses the street and notices a woman digging in her bag for money to pay for a parking ticket. The old lady generously hands the woman a coin. One kind act makes someone happy and they do something kind to another person, and the cycle keeps on going until it returns to the original person.

To sum it up, the motto of this video is that kindness has a very special superpower: the power to change someone's day. No matter how you are feeling, someone being kind to you will cheer you up, and you should return the favour!

i think it is nice to help others because you never know what will happen next, and maybe someday you will need help. It is just like When you did something good to other they might do the same to the another people, and other might do the same to the to you. Also when you be kind to other, you might get other people out of the red yellow or blues zone too.

Do you know what nice or kind is?

If your answer is yes, then you probably know what the big idea of the video was. That's right! kindness. The video shows that being kind will make others feel better, and you will always get back what you did, like the worker in the video. He helped the kid of the ground and got a free glass of water at the end. Plus, anyone could be nice! Like that homeless person in the video gave a woman's phone back to her when she forgot it. If you get something bad, you will also get back what you did. For example, if you slap someone, then you will get in trouble, but, if you help someone, then they will like you.

So when you are on the street, you could help others and maybe get a free glass of water too!

I love this video!! It teach and tell us to be kind to each others. When you be kind to others, they will be kind to you.

This video's idea is to let us know why we need to be kind to others. A boy fell off the ground, at that moment, he is in the red zone. When the construction worker take out his hand and help the boy, the boy will be in the green zone. And he will help others. When a person being kind to another person, that person will be kind to the next person. It is a cycle, it never stops, it make the world better and better.

It's a simple principle, when you willing to help others, others must be kind to you. Helping others will cheer them up and makes me happy.

The MAIN message of this video is to show how large of a scale one act of kindness can affect. One will show compassion and kindness to a random person, by doing this they not only help the person in mind but inspire them to try and help anyone in any way they can, this triggers a chain where one person will show an act of kindness triggering the other person to do the same. This is what the video calls a "kindness boomerang". Which shows how much can be made with so little. A hole can be made so much bigger when more people dig.

This is similar to that of the discussion with the poor man video shown before, like how a few words can impact so many lives, showing even the smallest kindness can spread across a whole town. It doesn't matter whether or not you have money, or food, you can easily show the kind side of you by maybe picking a dropped item and returning it to the owner, or you could help someone with their groceries; It doesn't matter what you do, as long as you show that you care. As I said before something so amazing like this can take a wrong turn. One person can end up doing something unexpected, disrespectful, mean, and it can spread just like how kindness can spread. This is not me saying we must live purely on positivity, as we all need negativity to live a balanced life; You can relate what I just said to that of a scale, if you have too much positivity, the scale can be thrown off breaking the balance, but if you balance a partial amount with negativity, then you can keep everything balanced. Words and kindness can make the biggest impacts in the world and it is our responsibility as people to keep this peace and make the right choices.

I think the big idea of this video is about how you help others and get help from others.

I think helping others is the coolest thing to do ever. It doesn’t always have to be something big, it’s for showing others the fact that you want to, or willing to help them. It’ll absolutely makes both of you feeling good. Either to get helped from someone or to help someone when they in need. Think of the other way! At the moment, if you’re the person who need help, will you like getting helped from somebody? What will you feel if somebody just stood up and help you? I think we should always be nice and help others, someday everything you did will get back to you.

Some things have consequences, but kindness is one thing that you can be generous about and give to others.
I think the main idea of this video is that if you help others, others will help you back. After all, the Golden Rule is that you must "treat others the way you want to be treated", and this video shows that. For example, if you forget to grab something, (like the phone the women left behind), then you would want someone to grab it and give it back, right? Also, if you're lifting something heavy and might drop it, you would also want somebody to help, right? This video shows that even if some acts of kindness are bigger than others, they all show that you are kind, generous and nice. If you do something nice like that, life will almost ALWAYS give something back to you.
I think that the big idea is: No matter how big or small an act of kindness is, it will always be appreciated.

I think that, that's the message the video was trying to give away. For example, that man in the beginning, the construction worker I believe, he did something kind for someone and that spread like a chain until it got back to him. Honestly I don't see much of these kind things anymore beacause I used to see them quite a lot so I think that we, as humans so start doing these things more again. I actually saw this video last year in my last teacher's classroom. It became an inside joke for some reason haha.

Anyways, overall I think the message is just telling us that we should be kind and one day that kindness will be returned to you by someone else and It'll all just spread like a chain.

Sometimes when you are being kind to some peoples they will be kind to you too.
This stories mean idea is about kindness, is about a worker helping a child and in the end they helped him back by giving him a glass of water. The story tells us about sometimes if you are just being kind of a guy by a little bit at the end some other people may help you too.

This Videos main idea was to explain the different behaviours of others and how u being kind could give this vitctom of sadness a light that would help them move on in life and complete there goals!

So at one point in the video where a boy was trying to skateboard and he fell so was ORANGE #New Color! so then there was luckily a construction worker taking a break near by so he decided to help the kid up and give him his belongings back! So then the boy went and say a elderly woman who could not carry everything she had in her arms, so the boy walked the elderly woman across the road and she was now in the Green zone!
And this kept spreading to more and more people so it’s one simple act that can change someone’s day or life so now be a good person and go help the world so it can make our day the BEST days ever!!!

There are no acts of kindness too small for you.

I think the big idea of the video is that if you do something nice to someone he or her would try to repay you or the kindness would come back to you like a boomerang. In other words it is called a chain of kindness.

In conclusion the video's big idea is too tell you that if you do something nice to someone they would also try to do something nice to you but don't be kind for others to be kind to you be nice because you mean it!!!
