COOKING SHOW TIME! Students had an independent work session for Science this morning to make more progress on their lab write-ups and body systems projects. Both are due on Friday. Later, they were introduced to the French Cooking Show project. This is due next Thursday/Friday. In the afternoon, we started a new read aloud with, "One for the Murphy's." We are two chapters in and the students are already engaged in the story!

1.) PARAGRAPH FORMAT: intro/body/ conclusion.
2.) GIVENS: Pay close attention to your spelling, capitals, punctuation, grammar, sentence structure, etc.
3.) INTRO: Make it as exciting and engaging as possible.
4.) BODY/SUPPORTING SENTENCES: Include at least 2 things you found challenging and how. you overcame these challenges. (STATE IT AND BACK IT UP WITH DETAILS!).
5.) CONCLUSION: Tie up your paragraph smoothly.
6.) PEER FEEDBACK/SELF-ASSESSMENT: Give 1 student 2 things to improve on based on the above criteria.
7.) REVISED VERSION: Based on the feedback you receive or the self-assessment you complete, post a revised version as a reply to your original post.
