- We continue to learn about the particle theory of matter.
- In your own words, write a paragraph about what happens in the two scenarios.
1.) Mixing salt with 500 mL of water.
2.) Mixing salt with 200 mL of water.
LEARNING INTENTIONS: I can explain how salt dissolves in different amounts of water based on my knowledge of the particle theory of matter.
SUCCESS CRITERIA:
1.) Paragraph format.
2.) Include what you know about the particle theory of matter when you explain how much salt is dissolved in each scenario listed above. Make sure you mention the space in liquids and solids and the particles in each.
3.) Include how much salt you think would dissolve in each scenario and explain why.
4.) Ask one student a question about their post.
5.) Answer all questions you receive.
6.) Edit/revise based on a self-assessment of your work.
