Today, students continued to assess their own work by comparing it against set criteria. They have been working on the 'BEEF' of their body paragraphs that they are writing for their standard five paragraph essays. They have been checking their work for transition words, writing structure, vocabulary, variety, adjectives, and some other basic writing conventions. They have made comparisons to their original writing pieces and their passion trailers and they have seen drastic improvements in their work.
