The Grade 7 Speech finalists from division 4 are Lance and Anita with honourable mentions to Hailey and all the other grade 7 students. (TO BE UDPATED)

1.) MATH 6: Any assigned work. Check your teacher's website.
MATH 7: Complete booklets (INTEGERS) except for the last page on subtraction.

2.) SCIENCE:

We will be going into the make space on Monday morning to create your Deep Sea explorers based on your designs.

3.) POST A RESPONSE:

What did you do over the long weekend?

FYI Mr. Hong I can't do the post a response because I am going to Main Island in the Gulf Islands over the weekend. So I will not be posting until Tuesday because I get back Monday night.

@Everyone, I made it to the grade 7 speech finals! Yes, finially it's announced! I was stresing out all day until we found out! Wait a second, I have to keep on practicing reading my speech, and making sure that It under 3 minutes. Thank you @Mr. Hong ;-)

@ Goofy, we have to draw a chart according to the tally we did in class. For example, 8 people prefered double chocolate cookies while, 2 people preferred snickerdoodles. So,

On Friday, I left school early because, I had to catch a bus and sky train to go to metro town. But, unfortunately I had to miss the assembly. I went to volunteer at my church all day Saturday. When I was there I had to sing in a choir because, no one wanted to join. Anyway, the next day I went to the movie theater and watched pitch perfect 2. Today my family and I plan on going to west Vancouver because, we have never been there, so hopefully our plan will go thorough.

On Friday, I left school early because, I had to catch a bus and sky train to go to Metro Town. But, unfortunately I had to miss our principles good-byeassembly. I went to church to volunteer all day Saturday. When I was there I had to sing inn a choir because no one else wanted to join. I went to volunteer because I needed volunteer hours to graduate from my religion school next year. I also had to do some ceremony's in church, it' sa tradition to do it every Saturday. Anyway, thr next day I went to the movie theater and watched pitch perfect 2, I think I think I liked it better than the first one. Today my family and I are planning to go to West Vancouver, hopefully our plan will go through.

My weekend was fun! On Saturday it was my mom sister and I so in the morning we went to Tim Hortons as a treat for breakfast and after that taste of heaven, I walked my dogs for 45 minutes like always. After I was done that we all went to see Pitch Perfect 2. The next day my mom and dad went on a one day trip up to my moms best friends cabin to have fun but my sister and I decided to stay home so my nana came over to watch us and spend the night. We went to white rock and got someone cream and walked down the peer. It was super busy there we could not find a parking spot. Then, when we got home my sister made a dinner for all of us. It was pasta and it was really good! After that, we went to go see Cinderella and I KNOW, two movies!! We usually see a movie at the theatre once every 4-5 months. Now today, my nana, sister, and I are going to goto the rodeo. This was my weekend! What was your weekend like?

On Friday, I went to the mall and shopped for clothes with my mom. On Saturday, I went to Stanley park and played my guitar there and just played around with my family, then we went to English Bay to watch the sunset and it was gorgeous, then we went out for dinner. Then on Sunday I watched Pitch Perfect 2 with one of my friends and it was hilarious. We also drowned our popcorn in butter and ate almost the whole bag of popcorn before the movie.

I went to Kelowna for a dance competition. It was a really fun and great experience. For my musical theatre group, we got 1st in our category and high gold. For hiphop, we got high gold.

The rankings work like this, Your team gets a medal that can be high gold (1st best) gold (2nd best) high silver (3rd best) and silver (4th best). Each team gets one of these depending on how they did. Than, they chose the top 3 teams in the category who they think did the best. There is 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. After that, the judge gives out a "choreography award" witch goes to the team that has the best choreography. After the WHOLE competition is over (the one I went to was 4 days long) they go through all the scores and the top 10 teams with the best scores get called back to do a dance off. the top 3 teams that win the dance off get a cash prize. Our teams didn't make it this year, but maybe the next to come!

On Saturday and Sunday I went to my sister's soccer tournament and played with all the other brothers that had a sister on the team. I basically hung out with them all day Saturday and all day Sunday. One Sunday night I slept over at my friend Josh's house and we played video games and did other things. On Monday I went with Josh's family to the Rodeo and we went on all of the rides and played a few games. I won a few teddy bears and blow up toys too. Overall, I really enjoyed my weekend.

Over the long weekend I went to mill lake(I just got back) and went to the gym now that I'm old enough and it was lots of fun pushing my limits with different weights. I am glad I am finnaly old enough for the gym and I plan on going a lot. :)

Over the long weekend I didn't go anywhere but people came over to our house on Saturday. Also on Saturday me and my sister did the whisper challenge. It was really fun. And me and my sister walked to our old house and we walked to the playground near our old house but they took it down. It's kind of sad that they took the playground down because me and my sister had tons of memories playing there.

During the long weekend, me and my family were giving a tour to my Uncle and Aunt who I haven't seen in 8 years. (I was about 5 years old turning 6, last time I saw them was in England) So we went to the United States on Sunday so we can go get them some souvenirs and other things they could bring back on their journey home, we went to White Rock so we can just walk by the shoreline of it, we went to Whistler to show them things there but I didn't come since I was at school on Friday and we had a friends and family barbecue on Saturday after I came home from the Country Fair at the Rodeo. Which was around 7PM when I arrived home. On Sunday (Which was his last day here.) my Uncle gave me 150 pounds, and in Canada pounds are worth at least x2 more here. Maybe x2.3 or so. So 150 pounds is actually $316 Canadian. And that was practically my long weekend.

Over the long weekend I did a lot of stuff. On Saturday, I went to my ball hockey game, and since I was still not 100% from recovering from being sick I was super tired after the 1st period and ended up sucking wind for the rest of the game which ended up being 2-0 them. On Sunday, I had the option to go to my hockey game but I decided to pass so I would be ready for today's game. Also, on Sunday I went to church with my mom and it was pretty fantastic because after there were samosas and they were amazing! On Monday which is today, I went down across the boarder with my dad to pick some stuff for his work. We had a blast! We made jokes up and did lots of other things to pass the time to get there and back. Then I had to rush home to get to my hockey game that was in Abbotsford which is as far away a game could be and ended up winning 8-5. My long weekend was pretty darn awesome what about yours?

On the weekend all I did was go to the rodeo and be lazy. The rodeo was so fun I went all the rides even the little kid rides. At the rodeo I ate 5 bags of monster cotton candy bags( super jumbo cotton candy ) and a couple bags of mini donuts. We had so much fun their was a petting zoo and their were lots of camels. I even got to ride on the macanical bull.

Hey guys! Over the weekend I went to mayne island in the gulf islands to my cabin we have there that my great great great a lot of greats grandpa built by hand! We go all the time and we went crab hunting at the beach, went to the famous dinner bay park, hung out at the cabin. And had a awesome campfire! We had s'mores and everything!

WHOAAA! I had a great weekend! Infact, I just came back from Harrison Hot Springs Provincial Park. And to be honest, I am really tired because, it took us 3 hours to get there and back due to the long traffic since it was a holiday. Firstly, as always, on Saterday, Sunday, and Monay I practiced playing soccer, practicing my soccer moves for the talent show auditions, and I went grocery shopping with my mom. I also, practiced reading my speech, and making sure that all the feedback people gave me are now fixed and improved! With this in mind, I am so exited and both nervous to read my speech tomorrow. Secondly, on Monday/ today, we went to Harrison Hot Springs for a picnic with my cousins, my parents friends, and with our friends to a Provincial Park. We had so much fun! We wanted to swim but, it was still really cold, we had a competition to see who can throw the rock the farthest, and we played volleyball and soccer. In Fact, I throwed the rock the farthest. Wait a second..... Nope I came in 2nd place ;-( However, I had so much fun in the warm sun. By the way, my shoulders and my chest are burning red since, I didnt put any sunscreen. Above all, that is what I did over the long weekend. What did you do?

On Saturday I went to the mall and shopped some clothes with my family. Then went to the Vietnam restaurant and had fun. After that my sister and I watched movie. Next day we went to the church and played fun games with my friends.

On Saturday is was my Oma's (Great grandmas) birthday party and all of the family all went to the Cutus Club. After that my dad and I went to Cultus Lake to my grandparents summer home. It was fun because my uncle who lives in Kelowna came to visit. Finally today I had a special day with my grandma. We went for Mexican food and we dyed my hair. Also my dad, my brother and I went to the rodeo which was really fun. That is what I did this weekend!

During the weekend I went camping at my trailer. Over there I played a lot of sports with my brother and we also moved tons of wood since recently we got a couple trees cut down. We made really cool fences around our lot and we raked tons of dirt. 8 full garbage bags! Overall, I enjoyed the weekend!

This weekend I had tons of fun! I went to the rodeo all of saturday and I won a mr.pickle. The next day I went out and I found tons of geo-caches, 7 to be exact :D. The last day it was Aidan's B-Day, he went rock climbing and I got to go. also I went to a fancy people store to find dress clothes for my aunts wedding in ontario this summer

Over my long weekend I went to the rodeo in Saturday with one of my friends and went on a lot of rides and later that night I went and watched the movie "unfriended". On Sunday I went and hung out with one of my friends I don't see often and in Monday I didn't do anything.

On Friday after school my friend Taylor came over and we hung out and had so much fun, we got ice cream and we jumped on my trampoline for hours full of sugar!
After she went home it was a chill evening.
On Saturday I was up at 8 to get ready to go to a racetrack, my dad raced and won 4 1st! Not bad for an old guy 😂
We set up a hospitality tent for his school and so many people showed up.
On Sunday I got up at 6 and my dad raced again their, I'm not sure what he got because I was just helping out with the food and the race bike.
On Monday I didn't do anything, I just was lazy

Over the long weekend I stayed at home for a few days then I helped out at the nursery at our church. After that i went to my dads house and we just watched movies.
