We are approaching the end of term 1 and it has been an exciting one. This term has been about building connections with your peers and the world. In addition to this, we have been working hard at becoming independent learners. We have been learning through the 4 C's of 21st Century Learning: Critical Thinking, Collaboration, Communication, and Creativity & Innovation. Term 2 will be full of fun and exciting learning on the global level. We currently have 4 different classes that we will be pairing up with from different countries!
1.) MATH 6 - Continue with your investment data.
a.) Complete estimates and calculations for Friday's price (pick a price between the day's low and high). This should all be completed on paper just like you have been doing every day. Keep your information organized and make sure you keep all your work in your notebook. All of your work is due on Friday.
b.) Calculate the total value of your stocks on your spreadsheet for each day. The stock market is only open Monday - Friday.
MATH 7 - Any assigned work.
2.) ART - We are making holiday wreaths on Monday. Make sure you have any ribbons, coat hangers, decorations, ornaments, etc here that you want to put on it. I will supply some.
3.) WRITE A RESPONSE 1: Click here and continue the conversation. Post a question to one of your peers and respond to any comments/questions. Feel free to post another custom/tradition that your family has.
4.) WRITE A RESPONSE 2: Update your E-folios/Learning Journeys. Post 3 new blog posts - 1 for your string ornament, 1 for your borax snowflakes, and 1 for your Onomatopoeia art. You must have these updated by Monday. All of them should be on your main 'ART' page. Simply create a new post for each and not a separate blog page. Ask questions here if you are unsure of what to do. Include 2 things you would do differently next time to improve your work and 2 things you did well this time.
