Today, the students completed the online components of the FSA and also the short writing section of the test. This is an exam that the government requires teachers to administer to grade 4 and grade 7 students. It is a test that assesses literacy and numeracy. We all have our own opinions about this test. Some parents excluded their children from writing the test.

Label your envelope with the address of the school you would like to send it to.
Bring the envelope back to school tomorrow so you can send your letter off to the school yo have chosen.

Self-assess your post for the givens - spelling, sentence structure, grammar, and capitals.
Give one student feedback on how they can improve their post.

The scientific method is an process of time for an scientific project. To explain that in a simpler way, it's the parts of development to what your end result of your scientific project will become.
1) You make an observation and take notes
2) Ask an question
3) Form an hypothesis
4) Make an prediction
5) Do the test
6) Make an cunclution around what happened and what is the main end result of the project.

For our ecosystem project, you should include notes, do research and analyze the information that you found. At the end, form an cunclution around your project. You should also provide pictures for readers to comprehend and understand your project better.

Make an observation and take notes. Then you ask a question and make a prediction for the end result of the experiment. While you are doing your experiment, analyse the data and make a conclusion at the end.
For our lab write up, we should include the prediction, the experiment, the data and the conclusion.

A scientific method is all the steps of doing a science project. (I Think)
1) Make an observation and take notes
2) Ask questions as you go on
3) Make a hypothesis and a prediction
4) Test your experiment or whatever you are doing
5) Look at your data and from that form a conclusion

In our lab write-up we should include pictures of our ecosystems, a list of items you used abiotic and biotic and talk about what went wrong and why it went wrong.

On our lab write up we would put photos and each part of our ecosystem. We would make a graph for the snail/slug's weight growth and etc. We would write what we messed up on and how we would not do it again.

The scientific method are the steps to do the project. The steps include:
1) Make an observation.
2) Asking a question.
3) Make a guess/hypothesis.
4) Make a prediction of what is going to happen after.
5) Do a test and experiment.
6) Look at your information. Make a conclusion to finish it.

On our lab write up you should put what you did wrong so that you wouldn't do it again, a chart to put the organisms weight, height and length and also draw pictures to explain.

Why do I feel like I'm so early when I'm not?

The scientific method:
1: Observe something
2: Have a question that you want to answer
3: Make a good guess (Hypothesis)
4:Test it out
5: Record the conclusion

How we could implant this in our science project:
1:We gather our subjects (snails, slugs, etc)
2:Have a question like "How long would it take for a snail to die without water?"
3: Make a good guess like: "I think it would die really fast."
4: Test it out
5: Record how long it takes

In our lab write-ups, we should include observations/notes and our guesses as to why things happened, analyze our information and come to a conclusion.

To do a project ,you have to :
1)should make some observations

5)read the information again and summarize it

On our lab write up,we should weight the snail,slug ,some bugs ,and to take a picture of your ecosystem and you will know that what is the difference between one day before and one day after ,after you know the difference,you can try to do it better.

The scientific method is the process of answering a question that you have through research and experimenting.

1. Make a question you want to answer.
2. Make an observation and take some notes.
3. Make an educated guess/hypothesis.
4. Make a prediction on what would happen.
5. Find some ideas for an experiment.
6. Test/Experiment it.
7. Look at your data and make a conclusion.
8. Compare your conclusion with your prediction/hypothesis and then make improvements.

We can apply this to our ecosystems lab write-up by:
1. Put the main question in.
2. Look at some insects and take some notes on them.
3. Make a hypothesis on how/why some things happened.
4. Make a prediction on what would happen if your hypothesis were correct.
5. Figure out a way to test your hypothesis (the ecosystems we made).
6. Do the experiment and collect both quantitative and qualitative data (the sheets that we used to write down our info).
7. Look back on our data and write a conclusion to answer our question.
8. Compare your conclusion with your prediction/hypothesis and write down some improvements for the future.

The scientific method is something you can use, when you want to find something out.
First, you ask a question, about something you want to study.
Second, you make a hypothesis, as to what you think would happen.
Third, you conduct an experiment, to find out what really happens.
Next (I like to do this), you compare your hypothesis to your experiment, to find the differences.
Lastly, you make a conclusion about what happened.
Don't forget to take notes as you go, and list everything you added, or did to your objects (that you made the guesses on). Taking notes and recording everything is very important, so scientists, or regular people can conduct exact, (or very similar) experiments to yours in the future.

5) Record a conclusion using your data

In our lab write-up we should put the question(s), write down the notes we took from our observation sheet, write down our hypothesis/guess and predictions, and record our conclusion.
