FAREWELL SETH!

Today was a sad day. We spent some time in the afternoon saying farewell to our good friend Seth. He will returning to his home country. Seth will return to the Netherlands to start high school. Each student had an opportunity to say a few kind words to Seth today. We sat him down in front of the class and each student came up shared some memories and kind words with him. It was indeed a sad day to see Seth say farewell to everyone! We hope we will see you one day in the future!

IMPORTANT:
1.) Gr. 7 Celebration forms/money. Please etransfer or bring cashe tomorrow along with your form.
2.) SCHOOL BOOKS: return all library books, class textbooks, and novels to school ASAP! TOMORROW WOULD BE GOOD!

Today's PAR will be dedicated to SETH! He has been such a SOARing member of our Laurier community and we want him to know how much we appreciate him!

Dear Seth, throughout the year, I’ve made multiple names for you, this is dedicated that.
Ses you looked musty after you cut your hair, yet you always look so crusty. I hate your for being tall but continue to make sure you grow up and eat well. Study well and don’t you dare frame the periodic table I made for you, there is no way you’ll memorize it like that. When you come back, I’ll be expecting to be able to understand everything you say, spell, and write, so get better at English so I don’t have to be the one who fixes all your grammar. Have fun! 😃🤚🏻

Hi Seth! Today is the last day for you in Laurier and you are going back to Dutch land tomorrow. I will really miss you after that and I will remember how you speak British to me lol. You are a really funny friend. I always laughing when I was sitting with you it was really fun. It’s really pity that you can’t participate the graduation but we will always remember you and maybe I will drink your bubble tea that day! Anyways, I wish you will have a good time in Dutch land and be a good student like you were in Canada! And don’t forget to always keep this card. I will DEFINITELY won’t be mad if you throw it away. Dear Seth, it's been great having you in the class. I hope you have a good time in Holland, and enjoy seeing your relatives. You're smart, funny (sometimes) and have never attempted to murder me even though I tried my hardest to make you. Dear Seth, today was your last day with us and I just wanted to say that it’s been a great experience having you in the class. And although I don’t know much about you, I know that you’ve always been a soaring student and helped others around you. It’s unfortunate that you won’t be able to make it to the graduation day but there is no doubt that we will all miss you very much. Anyways, I hope you have a good life in Holland and make sure to eat lots of food and grow even taller :)

Seth has been such an amazing friend this year. He is cleaver and intelligent. His personality is friendly and amazing, and he has a good sense of humor. From what I have seen he can make friends with people quickly if he wanted, so moving countries wont be a hard challenge to adapt to for him. I wish Seth a safe trip and great memories. :D

Dear Seth, I hope you'll have enough time for everything you would want to do in your life. I'm thankful of you for carrying in group efforts and being the one to speak for the group. I also hope you enjoy and remember the card I made, I put in a lot of effort in trying to make the pumpkin into a skirt you’d wear after I already drew it because of you. Although I doubt you'll even remember me when you're a successful 60 year old person, I wish you the best of luck in achieving your dreams and in meeting nice smart people like you.

Dear Seth,

I had a lot of fun for you to come to our school and be with us. You were really helpful and really intellegent. When you came to Canada, your spelling wasn't that good. But now, you can write paragraphs and a lot of other things too. You are even trying to learn Japanese. I hope you will stay safe and have a great time in Holland.

It's been a fun year, and we had a lot of fun experiences together. You leaving will not affect the friendship between any of us. We will always remember you and I wish you the best of luck. Make sure to do what you wish to do, and remember what Mr. Hong has taught you. The big 6 and the reading strategies are very important. Have a good time, Seth.
