Today, we had sports day! The students spent the whole day active, going through activities, running relays, and competing in their teams! After lunch, the students showed off their school and team spirits, by competing with their well-prepared cheers, and a Tug-of-War with the other classes. The teachers and grade 9's of Churchill even joined in to compete! Today was a great day outside, with plenty of activity and team spirit!

IMPORTANT: We have two field trips (3 for the grade 6s) in the next two weeks, and we must have the field trip forms in by Tuesday at the latest for students to attend.

2.) NOVEL APPROACH:

Complete your next step in the booklets that your group has agreed on.
Be prepared to discuss your book, Gift of Words, and Thinking and learning questions on Tuesday

3.) MATH:

Complete any corrections on the Math worksheet from Wednesday. These will be collected next class.

4.) ART:

Make sure that you have added your examples of the "Rule of Thirds" to your groups Photography document.

5.) POST A RESPONSE:

In a paragraph, tell us about your plans for the long weekend!
Offer feedback to your peers (punctuation, grammar, spelling, sentence structure, etc.) and make revisions to your own post based on feedback you receive.

So pretty much my plans during the long weekend are just a few things, and it's very likely it's exactly what i'm going to do. So first, today I plan to finish all my novel approach and my powerful response today. And then do all the things I missed on freshgrade, like fix my second powerful response for a better mark.

During this long weekend I kind of know already know what was going to happen. Since for all our long weekend we usually just stay at home doing nothing important. Only on saturday my dad has a off so we go out and buy stuff that we need. So, I think that this long weekend will be the same.
Friday, stay at home.
Saturday, go shopping.
Sunday, stay at home
Monday, stay at home
Tuesday, go to school.
This is how I am going to do for the long weekend.

During this long weekend, I am going to stay home. My dad working to in mornings to weekends and My mom worked in the evenings sometimes in the mornings.

Saturday: clean house and do xtramath and typing

Once again, a long weekend has come and we get a break from the work at school. During this weekend, we have the chance to have fun, go somewhere or even just stay home and do homework. Everybody's schedule is different so now, I will tell you what I probably will be doing.
-Going outside and being active
-Eating food
-Sleeping in
-Doing homework
-Staying at home

Sports day has just passed and we're all relieved to get a 4 day break from school. I am nit a very active person, I don't have many privileges so my weekends are always very boring. Here is a small list of what some things I have done and will be doing during the break.

Avoiding society
Doing some work (PR)
Fasting
Playing some games
Losing sleep for no reason
Playing Violin
Being depressed on Monday, cause no one likes Mondays

Long weekends are always teh best as we are allowed to stay home and spend time with our family. In the current long weekend, I have about nothing to do. Except to read and do some final touches on my PR for NA. Otherwise, I don't have any big plans (I'm usually an inside guy unless something big happens for a big event ). Furthermore, I will be obliged to be doing the things that keep me alive (breathing, eating, sleeping, etc.).

This weekend I will sleep in. That’s the main goal. On Friday I slept in, did homework, reorganized my box of random stuff, and went to kendo. On Saturday I slept in did some more homework, and went to Seattle for shopping and Costco. Currently, I am in the states, doing homework and sitting around. Tomorrow I will probably be at home doing homework. Yeah, I need to get some stuff done...

It’s a pretty much long weekend these days. Usually, the weekends are just on Saturday and Sunday. First of all, the fraction of weekends in weekdays are 2/7, weekends are less amount than school days. But this long weekend, the fraction will be 4/7, weekends are more than schooldays. I would like to celebrate! I still love school but also at weekends. What I always do at home is to watch the television or play my mobile. But mostly, I will be more active and athletic. Being more close to nature and the environment. That won’t just make you healthier but happier and being positive. I always would like to play sports with my family, tennis, soccer, basketball, and sometimes even running across the streets. Whatever could make me and our family closer, I will always give a try. Of course, I would always be welcome to watch films at the cinema.

This week was how my May weekend went/has gone so far :)

On Friday I didn’t really do much. My dad had work, so basically I couldn’t go out. I mostly stayed inside and went on social media all day. Saturday was a bit different, and more exciting. My dad took the day off and we were going to go to the cloverdale rodeo. It’s an exciting event that happens every year during May long weekend. Since cloverdale is about one hour away, we had to get there early if we wanted a good spot for parking, and watching the parade. After we got there, the parade lasted an hour or so. When that was done we headed into the park. There were too many things there, that I can’t explain everything. When we got home, we sat together as a family and enjoyed the rest of the night. Today (Sunday), we haven’t really done much. We went out to marine gateway to get some food, and that’s about it. Tomorrow is going to be a bit more busier. I have to do many chores in the morning. After that I’m going to see my friend and hangout with her for a while. It’s going to be very exciting and I’m happy to see her again, even though she’s in our class.

This weekend has been very fun and busy for me, but it’s nice to have some time off from school. Still have to do my reading though :)

For the past few days, though, it has been more exciting than usual! I went outside for an hour, and came back home. I also ate, drank and sleep. (Not so much for the last part)

For this long weekend, I will just do the usual which is wake up, eat, watch TV, play games, watch TV again, and sleep. I did that routine for the two days, and for the third day I went with my family to a dog park and watch the dogs play together. We also visited RAPS Cat Sanctuary to pet cats. My sister is seemingly addicted to cats so this was a very special and happy moment for her.

What do you think is the best way to spend your weekends? Is it to exercise, play video games, read books, or sleep? In my opinion, I would prefer spending time with my family. That is what brings me the most joy. Throughout my weekend, I have done many things, varying from a French test to hanging out with my friends at Starbucks.

On Friday, I stayed home for most of the day. I played games and enjoyed my day off. I also had to study for a French unit test on environmental actions. For Saturday, I went to do my French test. I went out for dinner with my family. I had a great time. The next day, I hung out with my friends. We went down to Marine Drive for it. We ate food, played games, and talked. Lastly, on Monday, I stayed home and completed my homework and spent the remaining time enjoying my leasure time.

To summarize, these were my plans for my long weekend. Now that the weekend is over, it is time to start focusing and getting ready for school again. :(

Ahhhhhhhh...

What a nice 4 day weekend, it’s so nice and now I am even going to make a big weekend plan sheet.

Friday, Chill at home and start practicing for volleyball and gaming tournament with like 50 at a YouTuber festival, and the organizer is ITz Slump, go and check his channel out really good mobile content. Anyway, my volleyball tournament is at Eric Hamburg, for elementary mid seniors, and get some huge amount of rest.

Saturday, Go to Volleyball at 6am and get warmed up, play for 4 hours and then leave after lunch with friends, then go to Richmond and get prepared for the big game, play for about 2 hours, leave for a small snack.

Sunday, get a lot of rest, and wait for my parents friends to come and my job is to escort them around Vancouver, and get super tired.

Monday, continue all the home work assigned, and make sure that I am ready for school.

Reminder, I worked on homework each day.

During these four days of long weekend, I decided to plan things up.

On Friday, I stayed at home and enjoy the first day of the long weekend.

On Saturday, I also decided to stay at home. However, I did use this day to catch up with my homework.

On Sunday, I head to Church with my parents. Afterward, I went back home. It was overall, a nice sunny day.

On Sunday, as you all know the weather isn’t as nice on Sunday. So after my classes at 8:30, I decided to stay at home and do some wrap up with my Novel Approach.

What did I do in the weekend on Friday in the afternoon I watched a movie called John wick in the theater nice movie but too bloody peoples Head get caught off and stuff. On Saturday I went to Richmond, I went shopping with a fell friends and had a great time. On Sunday I basically just stay home and watch TV. Finally Monday. A very bad day it raining and it's cold so I just stay home again. That's pretty much it.
