Where is Mr. Hong?

You all did well yesterday and were able to do some research to figure out where I was in the photo I posted yesterday. Today's image is quite easy. Your PAR is related to the image shown in the background. Watch this video to learn more!

Today, you did great at our rehearsal! Keep your energy levels high for tomorrow. We will have our first performance in the afternoon. Make sure you wear a white or black shirt so we all look like a team! Bring your energy and enthusiasm tomorrow so you present your letter proudly!

Continue working on your projects.
Follow your criteria sheets/rubrics carefully. Make sure you complete each section. This will ensure you do well on it.
It is still due on Friday. We will discuss a later due date in class tomorrow. It all depends on how far you are on your projects tomorrow when we have Social Studies.

2.) POST A RESPONSE:

What is the name of the landmark?
List 3-5 interesting facts about it. (IN YOUR OWN WORDS)

Facts:
1. Contrary to common belief, the Great Wall of China cannot be seen from space with the naked eye. It can be seen with aid.
2. The Great Wall of China has been called the longest cemetery on Earth. Over a million people died building the Wall and archaeologists have found human remains buried under parts of the wall.
3. The most well known of all of the legends of The Great Wall of China is the story of "Men Jiangnu’s Bitter Weeping" whose husband died building the wall. Her weeping was so bitter that a section of the wall collapsed, revealing her husband’s bones so she could bury them.

Like what Jagger said, you're standing on the Great Wall of China. And you're in Beijing city..? Here are some interesting facts about this landmark I found in the internet.

* The Great Wall of China cannot be seen in space. You need someone's help to find the landmark.
* Millions of people died building this thing. That's why its called the longest cemetery on Earth. People found human remains down there.
* One of the legends of The Great Wall of China, "Men Jiangnu's Bitter weeping", her husband died building this thing. Her sorrowful mourning for her husband was really bitter causing the wall to collapse. There, she found her husband's remain.

Mr. Hong is in Beijing, and is in The Great Wall of China! The country he is in is China. The Great Wall of China was stacked together by RICE! The Great Wall is more than 2,300 years old! Great Wall reconstruction and protection began with Badaling in 1957!

1.} So many people have died while making the famous great wall of China that they even found remains "buried under parts of the wall".

2.} Apparently human kind cannot see the Great Wall of chine through space with out using "aid".

3.} When making the Great Wall of Chine some of the substances that they had to use was " glutinous rice flour".

The wall of China
When we where at science world in the video it said that sticky rice is holding the wall that's how it still stands.
You can see it from space.
And it's not in a straight line.

From the video we were watching a little while back it showed us it used sticky rice to help fortify it a lot more then if it was just built normally.

@Mr. Hong sorry that I am saying this but I need more time on my project I am already done getting information I just need time for the drawings because I don't know what to draw ;(. Oh and I am having trouble with the alphabet photos because I think my mom sent you last time an email saying that our house is busy right now and that it's gonna be hard for me to do. And I was looking around my house and I didn't find letters and we don't go out that much. So I was wondering if I can take pictures at school on Tuesday:/.
