Today, the students dove right into the different academic areas. Grade 6 students were introduced to the concept of multiples and Grade 7 students were introduced to divisibility rules! Prior to beginning, students completed a self-assessment sheet to assess if they already knew the material. Students will reassess themselves at the end of the chapter to see how they compare with their original self-assessment from the beginning of their units.

What I learned in math class was numbers that were divisible by a 2, 4, 5, 6, 8, and 10. We mainly did 2, 5, and 10 since they were the easiest to remember for most people. So for you people who don't know what divisible means, it means that the number can be divided by a certain number depending on what the last digit is. Ex. 3250 is divisible by 2, 5, and 10 because each 5 multiple either ends in a 0 or 5, and every 2 multiple ends in an even number, and for 10 it always ends in a 0 like 5 and 2.

I learned the numbers that are divisible by 2,4,6,8 and 10 but in class we only did 2,5 and 10 because those were the easiest and we didn't have enough time for the rest. Divisible means the number can be divided by a number from what the last number is. An example is 80 is divisible by 2,5 and 10 because 80 2 and 5 are multiples of 80 and 80 is a multiple if 10.

Today in math I learned about the rules of divisibility for 2,5, and 10. The rule for 2 is that if the last digit is an even number then it would be divisible by 2. The rule for 5 is that if the last digit is a 0 or 5 than the number is divisible by 5. lastly, the rule for 10 is if the last digit is a 0 then it is divisible by 10.That is what I learned in math today.

We learned about how different numbers were divisible. The numbers that we learned in class were 2,5,10. Than are homework is to do more.

I learned about multiples today. What are multiples you may ask? Well ill tell you. Say you have a question that says list the first 5 multiples of 10. Your gonna skip count until you get to the fifth answer and then your gonna write down a multiplication question above for example 10x1=10 and that is your multiple. So skip count 10,20,30,40,50 and 1x10=10 2x10=20 3x10=30 4x10=40 5x10=50so you can get your multiple by multiplying.

I learned about the different multiples of each number. For example, 16 is a multiple of 4 because 4x4=16. Any product of the 4x table is a multiple of 4. Another way to remember the multiples of 4 or any other number all you have to do is remember 4x1, 4x2, 4x3, etc. And the product of the equation is a multiple of 4.

I learned that multiples are very easy and strait foward when you understand what they mean by multiples. If I we're to teach another student I would explain to them what it means then I would review over the stuff like 5,10,15,20 so on and then teach them how it relates to the multiplication and then done. I enjoyed it

I learned about divisibility and its rules. For example A number is divisible by 2 if the last digit (number) is even.
I also learned that a number is divisible be 5 if the last digit (number) ended in a five or a 0.
Lastly I learned that a number is divisible by 10 if the last digit (number) ends in a zero and that the number has to be divisible be 5 and 2.

Hopefully everyone understood that.

I learned that multiples are the answer to the times table or skip counting like I can say 1x2=2 2x2=4 3x2=6 4x2=8 those are multiples or of I don't show my work I can just put 2,4,6,8.

Today in math I was in Mrs.Farrell's class and she taught us about divisibility rules. We learned about the divisibility rules for the numbers two, five, and ten. The divisibility rule for two is that any number that ends in an even number is divisible by two. The rule for five is that if a number ends in five or zero, it is divisible by five. The last number that we learned about was ten, and the divisibility rule for that is that a number must end in zero for that number to be divisible by ten.

I learned about rules of divisibility 2,5,and 10. Rules for 2 is that last digit number should be even. Rules for 5 is that, last digit number should be 0,or 5. Rules for 10is that last digit number should be end with 0.

i learned that in 10's all there needs to be is a zero. for five there just has to be a zero or a five :)

I learned in Mrs.Farrels class that only certain numbers can only be divided into a certain number evenly, like for exammple

10 Divided by 2 you can do that because it splits even into 5

I learned that another way to find the multiples of a number you can skip count. For example, if you wanted to know the multiples of 6 you could skip count (starting by 6) 6, 12, 18, 24, 30, etc... And all of those numbers are multiples of 6. I will give you another example with a slightly larger number which will be 9 all you have to do is skip count: 9, 18, 27, 36, 45, etc... And all of those numbers are multiples of 9.

I learned that a multiples don't always have to be multiplication they can also be addition, subtraction, and division
