- You can also always post your question here and myself or one of your classmates will surely give you peer feedback.
- Daily required activities:
- Daily home reading and 30 minutes of physical activity. Click here for your April Calendar.
- Record these both on the same calendar unless asked otherwise. - Follow our classroom learning process. You will be required to provide more evidence of your learning on FreshGrade. You must check it daily and respond to comments, feedback, upload examples of your work, etc.
- Check your Office 365 District email via Outlook daily, your Gmail, feedback on your Google Docs, and your FreshGrade.
1.) MATH:

- Today, you will be introduced to the world of 'INTEGERS'.
Instructions
1.) Watch this video by MATH ANTICS. ~8 minutes
2.) Complete MATH IXL Lesson #1 - Understanding Integers. When completing work, click on 'learn with examples' to help you along.
- You must upload evidence of completion to FreshGrade (take a screen shot at the end of the activity)
3.) Click here to complete the Integers Intro activity. Complete both pages.
- download the file or take screen shots.
- You must upload your work to FreshGrade to be assessed. (digital or paper images are fine).

- Complete your lab write-up in Google Docs. Post an 'EDIT' view shared link on FreshGrade when you start your lab so I can give you suggestions along the way.
- File name should follow this format: 'YOUR NAME'S CHEMISTRY LAB'
3.) LANGUAGE ARTS:
- If you have yet to email/send your letter of appreciation to someone, please do so today and cc my vsb email address on it.
- Read for 30 minutes and document. Here is April's Calendar.
- Word Work test will be tomorrow on Office 365 - Teams at 10:00am sharp! Don't be late, or you will miss it! I will send everyone an invite to the meeting/pretest.
4.) POST A RESPONSE:
- Remote learning requires hard work, focus, and time management.
- In paragraph form, please write about 4-5 points that you feel are expected of you during your this time.
- Think of this as a 'C-CHART' for EXPECTATIONS for REMOTE LEARNING.
LEARNING INTENTION: I can write a paragraph of the expectations my parents and I have for myself during remote learning.
SUCCESS CRITERIA:
1.) Paragraph format (intro, body w/ 4-5 supporting points/examples, and conclusion)
2.) 4-5 points are supported with examples, statistics, quotations, or other form of support.
3.) Intro/hook is engaging
4.) Conclusion sums up the main idea of the paragraph and leaves the reader wanting to learn more.
5.) Read a peer's paragraph from your table groups. Give them feedback on the above criteria and the givens (grammar, capitals, punctuation, spelling, and sentence structure).
6.) Edit/revise based on feedback you receive. If you do not receive peer feedback within 2 hours, then complete a self-assessment, post it as a reply to your paragraph, and then edit/revise your work.
