C.R.A.A.P. RELIABITY TEST

DAILY BLURB TO BE UPDATED

1.) Interim Reports: Please have your parents read it, comment, sign, and return it tomorrow.

2.) LA:

Complete Peer assessments for your partner(s)
You must be specific with your suggestions for improvement. Do not simply say, add transition words.
Say something like, "You might want to add an introductory transition word at the beginning of your body paragraphs. Use words like firstly, secondly, finally, etc."
NOTE - You do not have to make any edits/revisions to your own paragraphs today.

can gather from the information given. Post questions here if you have any.

4.) POST A RESPONSE:

STEP 1: Create a new map on your Google Account by clicking here. You can title this map, 'FAMOUS CANADIAN LANDMARKS'.
Using your research skills, find 'CANADA'S PARLIAMENT HILL'.
STEP 2: Label it and mark it. You can choose any one of the symbols and colours to use for your legend.
STEP 3: This will also require you to post a link here to your 'VISIBLE SHARED LINK'.
STEP 4 - Using Google Street View, enter one room/location inside Parliament Hill and use your power of observation to collect as much information about the room you find most interesting. You need to be a Google Maps Detective. You need to teach your classmates as much about this location as possible (BASED ONLY ON YOUR OBSERVATIONS). TIP - Drop the little yellow Google person on a blue line on your actual map to visit the different locations.

@Mr. Hong, I have tried that. Google maps does not let me have street view and some other options like it does on the computer but, it's all good because I can come in early and do it on a computer at school.

2: they had all sorts of information about the parliament hill and building and how it was so special.
3: they had lots of different scenes of old heroes doing things important. very cool.
i think its reliable because it leads you right to where you want.
also i think its good because you can show other people your map.
also i think its epic because you can see things clearly.

Politicians talk about the present and future issues of the country in the building. The biggest celebrations of Canada even happen there with thousands of people. You also get a great view of Ottawa.

Observations: It is a luxury place, It is made for important people, It is a British and Canadian building, It probably took a long time to make, It is based on certain people. Here are some interesting facts. The building actually went down in a fire but the library was fine because it's doors were closed by employes. It cost 44 million pounds to make the parliament building. It took 48 years to make the parliament buildings. Here's a website I found and I think it's a good website because It's all about the parliament building it tells you when tours are and what happen in there also they give some interesting facts and it gives you hotspots also they find hotels for you.http://www.ottawatourism.ca/en/visitors/what-to-do/capital-heritage/parliament-hill

Parliament Hill is the puzzle piece that goes in the center of the downtown landscape, and also known as the Heart of the City of Ottawa. The reason why its known as Parliament Hill is because Parliament Buildings rests on top of that hill, making it a hill with Parliament Buildings over top of it. That's how its known. The Parliament Buildings have 3 different areas to it, or blocks to it. There's the Center, East, and West block. Each block has different parts of the Building itself. For example, the Center block is the base or house of the senate along with the House of Commons and lastly, The Library which stores the knowledge.

The room in my opinion looks like an archive museum, where they have stored some of the votes or probably some very important knowledge, but anyways, the room has all those cases with papers inside of them, And in the exact center, there is the most important file or document in the shiny, golden casing. And if you look carefully at the walls you could see some writing, which is probably some detail about what those papers are.

Why the link I chose about Parliament Hill and why I think it's a reliable source is because its not just any sort of info site, it tells about the parts and when tour guides are available, it also explains what the parts of the buildings is.

I can't really explain why its a reliable source, but its the best I got right now but later on I will revise and edit once my mom and brother are finished with the computer.

As much as I can observe, There are 3 main tower's, each tower has different features.

The center parliament building is the main building since it has the tallest clock piece and its the most brightest one at night time.

Also, back in 2012, the other 2 buildings on the side are still in construction, but the center one was already finished, so that would mean the oldest structure is the center block building.

During Winter around December, I could see that most people that go there gather around the little fire pit that has the years on it, representing something. Maybe the time of when it was finished or when it had started being built.

Exclamation 1: The Mosaika Sound and Light Show is a Summer time light show and sound on the Parliament Hill that goes from July to September at the evenings.

Exclamation 2: Whats cool is that on Canada Day, almost everybody goes to the Parliament hill to celebrate Canada Day for almost the entire day, around evening they have a firework show that is a must-not-miss sort of thing.

Exclamation 3: The Christmas Lights Across Canada starts from December to January, this event began about 29 years ago or so. A million of lights (Well not exactly a million...) are lit up at a ceremony known as the Illumination Ceremony, The Parliament Hill and the Confederation Boulevard have lights shining bright at them throughout the whole entire month of December.

Facts about the Parliament Hill.

1.The grounds of the Parliament Hill of Canada are dotted with numbers of sculptures of the important Canadians.

2.)The Parliament Buildings of Canada are set on a hill looking over the Ottawa River.

3.)In December, the Parliament Hill of Canada has thousands of colourful lights as one of the premier sites of the Christmas Lights Across Canada.

Parliament hill (also known as the hill) is located on the southern block of the Ottawa river.

On October 22 2014 multiple shootings took place near the hill.

The Hill held many events in Canadian history, including the first visit of King George the 6th.

My Observation About The Parliament Hill
1.) It is very clean
2.) In the library there are books
3.) It has a lot of stained glass
4.)There are a lot of pamphlets

What Happens In The Parliament Hill
Lots of stuff happens in the Parliament Hill and I'm going to tell you a few. Firstly, they use the Parliament Hill to celebrate and grieve the loss of Queen Victoria. Another, thing that happens in the Parliament Hill is are government creates and debates about laws and/or making new laws. One last thing thing that happens in Parliament Hill is that it is used for tours. People come to watch people debate on laws and stuff. That is a couple things they use the Parliament Hill for.

Why My Sources are Reliable
My sources are reliable because they passed the C.R.A.A.P test. Also I know in general Wikipedia is reliable.

There are more than hundred people are working on individual gargoyles, grotesques, and etc.

The Parliament Buildings are set on a dramatic hill overlooking the Ottawa River.

The original structure was burned in 1916, except for the Library.
