Grade 7 Field Trip to PlayLand

Today, the grade 7 students celebrated the year end by participating on a field trip to Playland/PNE. They enjoyed the beautiful weather, cotton candy, and scary rides with their close friends. Some students will be going to different high schools next year and so this was a great opportunity for the students to have some fun with each other. There are only a few days left of school, and all the students are looking forward to a break from school!

IMPORTANT MESSAGES:
- Grade 7 pancake breakfast tomorrow
- Grade 6 and 7 students: Do not bring lunch to school tomorrow. I will provide Chinese Food from Ming and Sing for you tomorrow. There will be food for vegetarians as well.

Today at school I enjoyed recess and lunch because I got to play soccer and hang out with friends.

I will miss making funny jokes and hearing the class laughing at them and learning new things in science and also hanging out with some friends that are not going to be at the school next year but luckily we have the summer.

@Azbo, try to be the next class clown at the front of the line to keep our class legacy going on! That's what we did from the year before this year, and we got even more clowns that I thought! Also, was that the only things that you enjoyed at school while us grade 7's were at Playland? Not to brag, but I'm very sorry if I did.

Ya! That is the only thing I really enjoyed other than P.E. but it was not that fun either.

During the field trip my favorite part was how even in line you are having fun because you are with friends.

the part about the last school year I will miss the most will be hanging out with Mr.potato and goofy since they will be in different schools next year.

I enjoyed that we didn't have a teacher telling us the learning intentions and having P.E. I will miss the grade 7's and having an older friend at school to lean on. Also keeping connection with the grade 7's so we can hang out with them after school.

Today at school I had fun because I got to play a different kind of California kickball and it was really fun. I will miss my friends that are in grade 7 this though

I loved the whole day because I got to do stuff with my friends like ride rollercoasters, and no work! Thank you Mr.Hong and everyone else who organised this field trip it was super fun.

I think I will miss all of my grade 6 and 7 classmates. For grade 5 and 6 I had the same teacher and friends\peers so I liked the change because everyone this year was super nice and awesome.

Today I enjoyed playing P.E with the class I was put into because we learned a new game called Rocket Ball. I will miss all my Grade 7 friends because they are such great people and have helped me a lot this past year by being good rope models.

I did not enjoy my day today really I rather be in our classroom, rather than being in a younger kids classroom with a huge long boring booklet.

What I will miss over the the last school year is some of the grade seven friends thag are going to high school next year.

I loved all the rides and hanging out with my friends. I will miss hanging out with my other friends in grade 6 and moving on to highschool.

I liked going to the field trip so I could hangout with my friends more and to ride the insane rides at Playland. Every single ride was pretty cool, I mean I did go to Playland before but I didn't go on any of the rides therefore if I did go on any of them, I'd be all by myself doing every single ride like a loner. But I'm happy I did most of the rides I wanted to do with friends.

Well, I'd miss everything honestly. Moving out is hard while staying in the same school while living pretty far. You barely get to see your friends now, you probably have to lose all your best friends and friends that you made throughout grade 7 and learning in an amazing grade 6/7 class. I'll miss every single precious moment that had ever came to me here and I hope to see them again in the future.

At Playland, I enjoyed having the freedon we did have. On some field trips, there always has to be a chaperone with you. For this field trip, I had the choice to go with whoever I wanted. And I like that. Im going to miss being the oldest of the school. But, the thing I will probably miss most is how everybody knows who everybody is. In highschool, I am probably not going to know anybody so It will be confusing to keep track of who is who.

I liked how we play a type PE that was like California kick ball.

The thing will miss most is the grade 7's next year.

Today at Playland, I quite enjoyed hanging out with all of my friends and just having a good time. My favourite part of the field trip was going into the haunted house. It was really scary but really enjoyable as well. Next year the thing I will miss most is all my friends because basically all of my friends are going to Clayton, while I'm going to Tweedsmuir.

At Play Land I enjoyed hanging out with friends and riding fun rides. It was really fun to go on the wooden roller coaster and go into the haunted house. It was really scary and I was confused because I didn't know where to go. The thing I will miss most is hanging out with grade 6 friends at recess and lunch.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! Im going to fall! Hold on to me! Firstly, this is what Ive said when I went on of the extreme rides at the P.N.E which was the hellevator. In Fact, that was one of the scariest rides Ive been on today either than the wooden roller coaster. With this in mind, when I was getting ready on the hellevator at first, I ddint know what will happen or how would I feel and react like. But, when I got shot up going almost 170 Km per hour to the sky fast with out knowing this, I felt llike I will go off the ride when I reached the top, I felt my body floating, and I almost threw up on my brother! Also, the wooden roller coaster was scary since they didnt include a lot of safety equipment on the cart, like seat belts. Instead they just had a bar! I mean what kind of safety is this? Otherwise, it was really fun! Latsly, I will probably miss about , achieving all of my goals and having the best time playing all sorts of sports like badminton, track and field, and especially soccer! Above all, I had a great day! Did you?

REVISED:

"I think I am going to fall! hold me quickly! These chains don't look safe!" I say as I am going on the Atmosphere ride with my mom at PlayLand. "AHHH!!!" Is all my mom would say in return. Everyone reading this, please tell PlayLand that they need more secure seats and chains for the Atmosphere! I felt like the wind was going to blow me right out of my seat! I also enjoyed all the other rides and hanging out with my friends. I also really enjoyed that one ride where you stand in line for an hour and 15 minutes for some food! (Not) I also really liked how everyone felt like they were free to go and do anything they wanted on rides and getting plushies from games. I loved how I went from one group to another and so on. I eventually came to my mom who was willing to do anything with me. So all in all I loved PlayLand! Now someone tell these people to stop this ride before someone falls out of their seats! :() :3

"Hey guys why don't we go play on the big field? Or go learn about math and science?" I say to my friends. "Eh learning is boring." Says my friend Aleksandar.

So now that I am leaving and taking a huge step in my life, I just want to say a big THANK YOU! Even caps isn't big enough. Well, looks like I will just have to share a document on google drive. I want to thank every single person I have been taught with and met as a friend. I think of Hillcrest as one big adventure because of all the adventures I have been through. I think of Hillcrest as almost my second family I can always go to if I am in trouble. I still need to work on following the criteria though. The only reason why I don't do so well on the criteria part is because I want to talk more with my teachers, awesome teachers. So if I would say thanks it would be as big as this whole computer screen. Or so long that it takes you 8 years to get from one end to the other!
