What are you finding challenging about note-taking and researching your ancient civilization? In other words, are you having trouble finding reliable sources, taking out the important information, etc. A response of 'NOTHING' is not acceptable.

Maybe you could try to make on folder on your drive called ancient greece, japan, or whatever you are doing. Whenever you make a document on research like about their government or technologies, put it in that folder. That will keep you organised.

I am finding that problem to. Use the C.R.A.A.P test. It may help. Also search up the same topic and see if any of the info matches.

I am finding the research part hard. I don't know if what I am looking at is correct because the link looks good, but the date of when it was published wasn't so clear. I am also finding it hard to find a book research with. I can't find a book in the school or on the encyclopedia online that talks about ancient Japan. Although we found a book, it only talks about Japan in the present.

I am finding great stuff on ancient Egypt on a bunch of different websites like Wikipedia and touregypt.com and more. Also, I'm finding reliable sources and detailed stuff about Egypt. So, no I'm not having trouble Mr,Hong.

Try putting your notes into simple sentence not point form. This helps when putting it into a paragraph. Then you have to structor it a little and add transition words. Hope this helps!

I am struggling most with finding good facts. I am finding some sites will say an invention or discovery but doesn't explain it. And then you have to go to another site to find the rest out. That is the toughest part

Well you can try the encyclopedia or Wikipedia, They really help and do not give short sentences of information they give about 2 paragraphs per section. Just FYI

I am having a hard time getting my research from a variety of sources because I tend to find one site and then get all my info from that one source.

The most hard part about researching is managing my time. I probably have the least amount of information on the document because I had to do juice boxes and I had no time over the weekend.

The hardest thing that I think is on the project is probably the research because I need to find different sources and reliable ones along with correct information.

You can find reliable ones if it has a lot of info also correct info like stuff on your topic and stays on topic For example, if you search up high school and talking about how they have a dodge ball team and then it starts to talk about school work. That will not be a reliable one but if it stays on topic and has connections to other relations then it is on topic.

While taking notes today, I noticed that it was extremely hard not to copy and paste information. I kept having trouble finding ways to put things in my own words. Another hardship I had while note taking was finding reliable sources. There were many sources with fake information, and it was hard to find the odd source of true facts.

I think the hardest thing in this project is finding the most important information from the books internet, and reliable sources. I need to go through the websites, and check over a few things for the C.R.A.A.P test.

@Icestone - I think your feedback is %100 correct but the way you said it doesn't make sense, "Is finding important information about the CRAAP test?" Maybe you can say Is the CRAAP test about finding important information?

Wikipedia probably does have very good information, it's just that a lot of people can go in and change stuff. You should continue what you're doing, use Wikipedia then cross-check with another reliable source.

I am doing ancient Rome as my civilization and have not found anything challenging about my researching at all or finding good information. Since we do lots of research normally for lots of other subjects it does not seem hard in any way.

Have you checked to make sure that ALL of your sources are reliable. Make sure to find 2-3 websites that passed the CRAAP test and say somewhat the same thing so you know that it is accurate.

One of my problems with researching is although the sites do look professional I just want to make sure that the sites are reliable enough for reasearch to be provided from the site or to make sure that you can see info about reliability so you know they know what they are talking about. In other words I'm trying to say I want reasearchfacillity from sites that arnt all about looks.

While searching for your info try adding key words. This will make it easier to find things you are looking for. For the reliable info make sure you use the CRAAP test. This will help you tell if you are looking at good info or not. Hope this helped!

Im having trouble with finding online sources that have good information that is easy to understand. On top of all that it also has to be reliable and pass the C.R.A.A.P test. I have found lots of books with good information but not so many websites.

I think that if you cant find reliable sources you should go on the library page. You also can read up on your topic on encyclopedias or books about your topic.

Probably finding good sites. I get that we have books and an infinite storage of pages, but sooner then later I just end up with the same information over and over again.

The most challenging part for me is finding a reliable source because acient India is not serched a lot so trying tp find stuff is lind of hard.
