- LEARNING INTENTION: I can write a unique paragraph on what I think the 'BIG IDEA' is about 'When I was Eight'. (Write a written response on what you think the author's message is)
SUCCESS CRITERIA:
1.) Paragraph format: intro/body/conclusion
2.) Givens: spelling, punctuation, grammar, sentence structure, and capitals
3.) EVIDENCE/SUPPORT: Include at least 2-3 examples from the story and your visible thinking. These supporting points must be ones that helped you get to the big idea of the story.
4.) SELF-ASSESSMENT: Check for the above criteria.
5.) PEER-ASSESSMENT: Give one student feedback based on the above criteria.
6.) REVISIONS: Edit/revise based on the self/peer assessment and feedback.
