Today, we were lucky enough to have one of our students give us a spectacular violin performance. It was like something right out of the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra. It was clear how much hard work and dedication this student has put into learning how to play the violin over the last seven years. Click here to see a short video of part of her performance. Every student in the class has passion and a hidden talent that other students may not be aware of. I look forward to seeing something from all of you in the near future. What's your passion? Have you ever found yourself trapped in the swirling vortex of “popularity”,stuck and trying to get out by buying knick knacks and clothes to look like others,but that just drags you deeper into the pit of popularity,because if you don’t you will be nothing,just an old timer. DON’T FRET! Almost everyone feels like that!!”What!” you may ask,” but some people are ugly freaks but other people are beautiful and awesome, of course I'm in the second section,” actually, I do not believe it is true, to find out more, read on.

To begin my opinion on this very complicated matter ,I will talk about what most people believe and how my beliefs contradict theirs.Most people say that normal people look like how most people look,act like most people act ,buy what most people buy, and do what most people do. To be normal,you must meet all 3. For example,if a person is pretty much normal,but has a weird face,good job CREEP! I disagree. I think that ALL people are normal,what other people call NORMAl and ABNORMAL,is just what I say is what MOST people do and what is UNIQUE,but what MOST people do is not necessarily right.Still don’t get me,I will use an interesting poem called BORN TO STAND OUT.
Born to stand out is a moving poem,a poem about what most people call ABNORMAL.The girl says that she was born to stand out. She is apparently different.She most likely has faced bullies in life,and that makes her feel weak and special,not special in a good way,but a bad.She says that other people don’t understand that she just wants to be her. I think that she is good the way it is.\n the end she says it is time to breakaway,which probably means she wants to ignore the others and just be who she is.
Now,even I have been different in something before.I used to be in this after school class where I felt awkward because everyone else is so much smarter than me.I felt like a homo erectus so primitive and dumb.
In conclusion,what do you think of the poem?

I am working on the inquiry project. I read slow because of my poor vocabulary. I will work hard.
