Can you guess who drew these? Today, we the students started their pencil to pixel assignments. They started by learning how to draw a simply anime/manga style self-portrait of themselves. Before we started, some students were heard saying, "I'm not good at drawing!" By the end of the lesson, every single student had drawn amazing self-portraits in the learned style. I was happy to see what they were able to do with simple step-by-step instructions. Tomorrow, the students will get more time to practice drawing by using different facial expressions, eyes, eyebrows, lips, ears, and hair. I'm looking forward to seeing their creations! If we have time, we may convert their pencil drawings to pixels tomorrow!

- Take 15 minutes to draw another self-portrait in the 'anime' style. I have posted a couple videos below so you can follow them step-by-step.
- Go to Google images and find different facial features/expressions to help you along. Key words: anime noses, anime eyes, etc.
- Take a photo of your picture and upload it to your Google Drive.
- Share the link here with a 'VIEW ONLY' link to your picture.
