Read aloud in the library Today, many students wore pink shirts to support anti-bullying efforts. Pink Shirt Day is a day where students across Canada support inclusion! We started the day off with a reading/writing activity. Mr. Fisher and I read 'My Secret Bully' to both classes and had the students complete a powerful written response on what they thought the 'BIG IDEA' was. They used our written response criteria to do this. Later, students made a lot of progress in algebra. All students were able to solve questions with one variable and 2 operations. We will continue this tomorrow with more challenging questions.
