Today, you all were amazing Laurier students! All of you SOARED as high as your wings could take you! I was so impressed with everyone's behaviour today! WELL DONE! This was a successful field trip and all of you can take credit for it! I look forward to organizing more field trips with Mr. Fisher so we can make your year at Laurier an amazing and memorable one!

There's this place I enjoyed visiting ever since I was half my height. That magical place is Science World.

Today, we went to Science World for our field trip. One thing I learned is that Tyrannosauruses grow really fast. When they are a one-year old, they almost look like a small chick; but a little bigger. Although, a few years later, they're not the same height as your average four-year old; these guys would probably be taller than your parents!

At the end of the day, I learned about the term sublimation. It's when solids like dry ice starts turning into a gas.

At the end of the day, it was disappointing to see this wonderful day end. Hopefully we'll come back soon. ;)

There's this one place I always enjoyed going to ever since I was half my height. This 'magical' place is Science World. I learned many things at Science World. I learned many things at Science World.

When I was at the T. Rex exhibit, it was quite interesting. One thing I noticed is that T. Rex's grow more rapidly than others. During their first year of age, they resemble a baby bird; but a little bigger. However, a few years later, these things would be taller than a horse! Just imagine how big they would be once fully grown!

Later on, I learned about some chemistry. One of them is sublimation. Sublimation is when some solids, like dry ice gets so cold that they start to transfer to a gas. Another thing I learned is how to experiment with different acids and bases to see which ones are stronger. To do that, you need to neutralize the acid/base and record how many drops of the opposite side of the ph scale you need in order to neutralize.

At the end of the day, it was disappointing to see this wonderful day end. Hopefully we'll come back soon. ;)

@Leah you wrote I learned many tings at science world twice. I think you could word the forth sentence like this when I was at the T. rex exhibit I found it quit interesting and in the sixth sentence I think you could write it like During the first year they are just bigger than a baby bird

Today at science work I learned a little bit of coding. I learned how to make things using the microbit and got a better idea of how to code. Another thing I learned today was how the body is put together. When I went to the body section I saw a 3D model of a body and it allowed you to put body parts into it. So I learned how the parts of the body are put.

Today, we went to Science world. I learned that dinosaurs have tails to balance them self. Imagine a dinosaur without their tail, they wouldn't be able to stand because all the weight is in the front making them fall over. The tail helps balance them so there is equivalent weight. Another thing I also learned is coding. Today was a really fun day, and I wish that we would go there again.

Have you ever went to Science World? Science World is a place where you learn while having fun. You can learn interesting things of dinosaurs, how your body works, rocks, etc.

When our class and Mr. Fishers class went to Science World today, I learned how to code with micro: bits and learned about dinosaurs.

A T-Rex named STAN at Science World was the second most complete T-Rex fossil in the world. I couldn't believe how complete the first most complete was if STAN was that complete! Fossils are hard to find because they can recomposite after a while and some bones can get caught in the wind and blow away. They are fragile and can be broken easily, even wind or just lifting it.

When we went to the coding workshop at Science World, I learned how to code with micro: bits. I used to learn to code with HTML. Learning how to code with micro: bits expanded my knowledge of coding. Some of the things you can do with the micro: bit are, making it tell you what to do when you are bored or showing you a heart. You can make you a random equation to do.

Science World is one of my favorite places to go learn.

Do you know where we went today? We went to science world! You probable think I had fun, but I didn’t really because I have been there of dozens of times, so it is not that fun. Next thing you would ask is did you learn anything? No, and all that I learned was about coding and that was very boring, and I didn’t learn much. I can’t think of anything that I learn about so I will tell you about the one fun thing I did. I goofed around with my friends. Usually, I wouldn’t list that, but I was away from school for a whole week, so I really missed my friends. Though I didn't really have that much fun I was still sad to leave I can’t wait to go on our next field trip on Friday.

Did you see the new T-rex exhibit? Today we went on a trip to science world, I learned and had fun, and here are two things I learned. I learned from the new dinosaur exhibit that a 4 years old T-rex is already taller the me. There was a huge poster that showed the size of T-rex from newborn to adult. (It's also a really dangerous predator) I also learned that you can counter acidic solutions by adding basic solutions in it. For example we made a small experiment where you four beacon from least to most vitamin C and the more vitamin C it contains the more basic solutions you need to add to counter it. Those are some cool things I learned at science world today, if you are interested you should go check it out!

Today, we went to science world! We saw lots of cool exhibits and we had a really fun time there.

One thing I learned there is what a micro bit was. It's something you use in coding that you plug into your computer, and it has inputs and outputs. We made boredom busters, which when you press a button, it pops up with a number and based off of that number, it shows you something you can do when you're bored.

I also learned a bit more about the human body. There was a skeleton puzzle where there were holes shaped like the bones of the body, and pieces you could use to fill in the holes. I learned a few different new bones like the clavicle and mandible. I enjoyed the skeleton puzzle because you have to do it in under 25 seconds, and it pops out at you after it hits 0.

Have you ever been to science world? Well today we went to science world for our field trip.

At science world I learned a lot of stuff. My favorite place was the puzzles because that's were I spent most of my time at. I also liked the sperm game or whatever that thingy is called. I liked the animal exhibit because I like animals. I saw how a beetle grows and it shows the steps.

I learned a lot from science world and i am looking forward to future field trips.

Today, we went to Science world. I learned that dinosaurs have tails to balance them self. Another thing I also learned is coding. We used a thing called micro-bits and programmed something called a bored breaker or something like that. It was used to decide what activity you should do when you are bored. Today was a really fun day, and I wish that we would go there again.

I learn a lot of things like coding puzzle ect. 1 thing I learn at sense world is that there is to har to block rivers I and my friends tried to block the river but is was to har that we couldn't do it then we went to a place were you need to try to fix on a box basically your blood cells help you to squish your body.

Today we went to Science World for a field trip! It was a lot of fun, and we went to many fascinating exhibits.

During this field trip, I learned so many new things! For example, I learned that the T. rex has a lot more relatives than I thought! I also got to see how big they were in real life! I also learned that dinosaurs lived all around the world, in places like China, North America, England, and more! This was interesting for me because I didn't think there were dinosaurs in so many different places.

Overall, our trip to Science World today was very enjoyable! I hope we can go there in the future, maybe when they have a different exhibit!

Today was an amazing day! We went to science world for our first field trip this year, and I learnt a lot of things.
Most importantly, it’s the fact that I should never wear boots to field trips ever, as I got a popped blister from it. I learnt that t-rexes actually have a lot of relatives, from different corners of the globe, like China, Mongolia, and even England!
I’m very excited for our next field trip on Friday!

“Woah look at this!” “Wow” HOW THE HECK DO YOU DO THIS PUZZLE”

I heard many of these things at science world today, if you didn’t know division 1 and 2 went to science world and got a whole bunch of fun learning opportunities! We had workshops, games etc.

Myself and my group went to the chemistry workshop, I was able to learn more about the ph scale and I think it was acids and bases.

For me, I had a lot of fun at science world and can’t wait for the next awesome field trip! What about you?

A big snow globe? What could it be? Its science world!!

A few highlights of this field trip is the chemistry activity we did at the end. It was really amusing to see the chemical reactions and how you could see it turn acidic or basic based on the colour. What I Iearnt from this activity is that a lot of things react to eachother and even if you add one little thing it can make a huge difference on the mixture you may be making.

(I'm bad with my words on this one ahh)

Today we visited the amazing science world. From the outside, it looked like a giant snow globe, but from the inside, it is a magical learning place for all ages. There are a lot of different sections inside the science world, we only visited some of them, but it was still a great experience. On the day of the field trip, we arrived at school at eight AM, I got to wake up at seven O' half! ( T-T )Then we walked to the Skytrain station, the walk was so long and cold, but it was somewhat fun when my friends and I play a game as we walk. Then we took the Skytrain to the Olympic village and walked ( again, RIP my leg) to the giant snow globe. Then we arrived at the entrance of Science World, and we went in with an adult. We looked around the exhibits until it's time to have lunch. Then we went to the chemistry workshop, we mostly just do experiments. I think the workshop could be better if it explains why do chemicals react to certain things. But over all I had a great time with my friends.
